What did you have for dinner II?

Frittata with onion, orange bell pepper, minced sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, and shredded Italian bag cheese.

Pretty much the only time I use the non-stick skillet, and it’s perfect for this!
Gave you a like, but i had to take it back because of my mushroom allergy. Ah, hell.. I'll like it anyway.

That sounds like heaven! That venison will melt in your mouth after being in the crock pot all day. I'm jealous.

In case anyone is interested, I have a recipe for a venison hind quarter a supervisor I used to work with years ago passed on to me:

-One whole hind quarter, bone in. (Cut bone off at knee).
-1 pound peppered bacon
-1 bottle zesty Italian Dressing
-Salt/Pepper
-1 or 2 sliced onions
-Large Turkey oven roasting bag.
-Carrots and Taters

Clean up hind quarter. Lay out bacon. You may want bacon at room temp so it stretches easily without tearing. Add layer of sliced onion. Lay seasoned Quarter on onion. Add layer of onion. Fold bacon around and secure with tooth picks. Slide in roasting bag. Add Taters and carrots. Pour in bottle of Italian. Seal bag and cut 2-3 small slits in top. Roast on cookie sheet at 225-250 in oven. Depending on size of Quarter, I start checking at about 3.5-4 hrs. A large Quarter could possibly take up to 8 hrs. My is it done check is to grab the leg bone thru the bag and jiggle it. If it's gonna pull out, it's done. If it hasn't let go, keep cooking. And be patient. It's highly probable this venison will collapse when the bone comes out !! The juice is crazy. I thicken it up slightly for a gravy. true story. I had a friend that had never hunted before. He was at my house one day when I pulled this out of the oven. He spent several hundred on a rifle set up and hunting clothes and started hunting with me after he ate a plate of this roast.

This is a lot like what I do for a Goat. The only difference is that I wrap it in banana leaves and aluminum foil, and cook it in a pit in the ground.
