What did Saban find wrong with

I was confirming he had issues and in whatever fashion corrected the issues, whatever there were, enough to aliviate any concerns about him.

So yes here's to hoping the same problems do not arise again.

What were the issues and how did you become aware of them? Asking from the perspective of the fanbase that has heard nothing but good things about the young man...dating from his high school to the present. Interrupted by vague aspersions from the college that oversigned him. His second mother Mz Terry raves about him...his JC coach raves about him and his current team raves about him. Character, attitude et al...all positive. Only divergent opinion is from coaches/fans of the college team that tried to hoard him...and you...sensing a theme here? Fine sir? :hmm:

As stated previously you can look it up; you are just a couple of clicks away. Not an opinion it is/was fact. It is great that he made whatever changes he needed to make and that he has become a productive member of our team. Yes I'm fine sir, thank u for asking.

Saban is the worst over signer there is. He takes as man as he can and then finds reasons for them to leave if they don't immediately preform.

Bear Bryant was notorious for that back when there were no scholarship restrictions. He was a great coach but easy to be good when you have all the elite players...lol

There are no factual articles out there...the one you linked concluded that he transferred...once again...thanks. :)

I'm just glad Kamara is a VOL now. Can't wait till we play Bama. It would be awesome if Alvin has a real good night and shreds the Bama D! Go Vols!

Neyland has just as many wins in the same 20 year span. Coach Barnhill had a 84.3 winning percentage during his time compare to Sabans 74%

Go root for another team my friend or at least use google.😤

I guess we will agree to disagree. You are crediting Coach Neyland with 4 NC's. That is really a stretch in my opinion. Coach Neyland only won 1 AP NC and historically that is the best poll we have to go on. You can not dispute Coach Saban's 4 NC's. Anyway, they both are great coaches.

You cannot overlook his win percentage. ..which is better than Satan. Neyland is also the only coach with a winning percentage against Bryant. He still owns both of bamas best.

I don't think it's an issue of Saban not seeing something in Kamara. Kamara simply didn't beat out the guys ahead of him. He transferred in order to get a fresh start. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

FWIW I remember hearing rumors that part of the reason Kamara and Saban butted heads was because they tried to move him to the slot after they'd promised him he'd play RB.

Simple, concise analysis. Google article...right? :)

Time to grow up. How about we take a step back and look at why they are having success. I dislike it as much as the next Vol fan, but a bit idiotic to accuse them of something. I am sure there is mud in all our programs.

IDK. I think it's a little silly to not have enough understanding of your own team's history to make a statement like the poster made earlier. I see what your saying that we should stop making excuses for Bama's success but I have no problem with someone calling out a poster for making a statement proclaiming Saban as better than any UT coach in history. I would hope to hell anyone with any sense would have issue with that as well.

That seems unlikely. Bama is really deep at WR, and converting a running back would seem like a waste of time and energy.

I think you are closer to the truth than not. I always thought Saban would bring Kamara in and move him to WR or DB due to his body type.

Saban likes his RBs to be thick thru the thighs and butt. AK never looked like a Bama back and was probably told to switch positions if he wanted to see the field and then the relationship became toxic.

I'm glad Saban recruited Hurd as a RB but wanted him to play DB in camp. :)

Not many running backs in the nation would have beaten out a rotation of Yeldon, Drake, and Henry. Taking 4 RB's in that class was BS in the first place. As they say, there are two kinds of recruits - the ones that help you win, and the ones that aren't going to beat you. Blame Little Nicky for playing games with divisional rival's depth charts instead of filling roster needs.
