What are you listening to?

No one can out do Procol Harum on this song, he does pretty good.

Correct. You have a good memory.

Only because I remember that year well. We saw her a few months earlier so I didn't want to drive from Connecticut to Knoxville to see her again. We did drive down the next year to see Hendrix at the Atlanta Pops Festival.

I was at the Second Atlanta Rock Festival (1970) and saw Hendrix perform The Star Spangled Banner on July 4th. Also remember Richie Havens' performance of Here Comes the Sun as the sun was rising.

We were at the same one then. A ton of performers. Rare Earth Procol Harum, BB King, Johnny Winters, Mountain among others. I remember buying a full Dixie Cup full of pot for $5 during the concert. You might not have been into that stuff but thought I'd mention. I remember people walking around with aprons like you'd find at Home Depot with about 8-10 pockets that were full of different pills for sale. Tickets were around $15 if I remember correctly. Lot of money back then.

That was one of the greatest adventures of my life. As to buying pot, we did not have to. We went around to each dealer and asked for samples.

We didn't know they did that but I'm not surprised. Good times back then. I remember buying a pound, yes a pound, back then for about a $100. Both, in Connecticut and Tennessee.
