What are you listening to?

I remember seeing them in Knoxville in the 60's. Zombies, Sir Douglas Quintet and another band that I can't remember the name of. Buddy of mine's brother was the opening band and we got in with them. After talking with Sir Douglas backstage, I commented to my buddy, "They don't sound British to me." Of course he didn't, he was from Texas.
 
Yeah, they played at Bradley's Station back in the day. One of the guys, can't remember which one, played in a friends's band called The Loved Ones. They later went on to record under the name of The Amazing Rhythm Aces.
 
Good times back then. Good music, too. Do you remember a band named Cheyenne that played at the Longbranch?

No. I do remember The Loved One. Seems like they played at The Place and were the opening act for The Rascals at Stokely. They played Back in the U.S.S.R. and brought the house down.
