I think most are in agreement that the wildcat was unsuccessful last year. Most (myself included) would prefer not to see it for a while. My question is, what are some other offensive plays or formations that you really just don't like? I'll start:

The toss sweep. Hate it. Despise it. I swear it has a 10% success rate at best.

Others?

Prevent and extra points. I'm always so nervous on PATs with palardy. Hopefully that changes this year tho

The "hand-off" where we stick the ball out at arm's length for 3 or 4 seconds and say, "hey, look 100,000 people, make sure everybody knows where the ball is."

The toss sweep.

Is that because of 99 Jamal Lewis against Florida. I do think that stings all of our hearts still. For the record I don't despise any formation. I am a firm believer you can make any formation succeed as long as you have good enough players and the formation is executed properly. I will say I hate timing of certain plays. I for one like to see trick plays when we are underdogs or evenly matched anyways. I hate seeing us flea flicker or half back pass against inferior opponents. Teams that we should beat being vanilla.

Even though I hated Randy Sanders' playcalling, I thought the HB pass against FSU and the end around to Tinsley against Miami on 4th and goal were two of the better trick plays I've seen called.

And timing of those helped us gain an edge. One reason Spurrier is successful is he doesn't care to pull the trigger against big time opponents.

The underhanded, 3 yd shovel pass while falling backwards out of your opponents endzone is one of my least favorite plays.
