where did the first half go?
I assume you are talking about this blog fan base that pays nothing to the University . The fans that pay continue to fill Neyland. An eight win season want budge the fan base in Neyland. Much to look forward to next year. Payback for vandy and SC soon.:lolabove:

Coaches that don't live up to expectations and lose to Vandy or Kentucky do not continue to keep a packed stadium. Ask your buddy Derek, if you don't believe me.

Tennessee fans are still gonna go to the games when we beat Florida and Georgia. The only home game we actually lost was to Alabama. I'll gladly buy your ticket if you decide to stop going.

Yep, ive been taking my family to one or two games a year forever. Would love to go more but right now thats my limit. Ill always go no matter what because its about the kids has nothing to do with the coach.

Some schools like alaBubba have $50 Million to $100 Million cash reserves.

Just a couple of years ago Tennessee was only around $5 Million and way behind most all other schools in the country.

The FACT is that we do NOT have the kind of HUGE $$$ it wilol take for the buyout for buTch, a big buyout for a top notch coach to replace buTch and BIG $$$ to pay the new coach and his staff.

Those idiots saying that we do have that kind of BIG $$$ are just totally clueless on the finances of our AD.

Sad situation to be sure but that's our financial reality.

One of our big boosters bought the Cleveland Browns for $1 billion a few years ago. That's billion with a B. I'll just leave that right here.....

That's correct and that's a Team with more coaching changes than hiTllary changes lies.

alaBubba could probably beat the browns, LOL!

He's also helping fund his sons political career which isn't cheap.

Just because he wasted over $1 Billion on a NFL team is even more reason he won't want to throw more HUGE $$$ at our footVol Team.

If our big boosters wanted to throw that kind of HUGE $$$ around we would never have hired buTch and we'd have a HC earning $6 Million or more per year right now.

Please attempt to Think and engage brain before posting my friend.

How do you figure he "wasted" money on the Browns? Just because they stink doesn't mean the value of the team isn't increasing. I'm pretty sure he could sell the team for a tidy profit if he wanted to.

Spending money on UT isn't making him any money. A lot of posters on here act like our big boosters live to spend their money on coaching buyouts.

The way I read some posts, some people think they're obligated to just pony up buyout money when the fans aren't happy.

That's exactly the way I see it too.

Even our biggest boosters have to be sold on what our program plans are and then the AD has to beg for enough $$$ to try to make good changes.

I've done many jobs for many Millionaires and they are the tightest fisted people I've ever had to bid a job for.

It's NOT easy at all to get wealthy people to turn loose of their hard earned $$$!!!

They can only use so much as a tax write off.
