Then he should recruit better.
If Butch leaves, someone like Miles is going to be your best option. Wanting Miles is a mystery too me.
The guy could not have a better situation. Takes over a juggernaut built by Saban. Recruits great but can't hire or keep coordinators.

Could you lure an NFL guy in, not sure?
There are some coordinators with UT ties in Bates and Cooter.

Miles is reassessing his philosophy and forming a short list of coordinators. If he came here, we would never have to worry about our defense and I believe Les would not be stubborn on offense. If our AD told him from the very beginning that his offense can't be a problem, Les would have a fire under his butt which is good. Les being at UT would make him the best coach in the East by a landslide.

We lose fla, ga, bama, lsu and butch botches 1-2 more. Kentucky is on an upswing as is vandy.
We lose a ton of talent this year and I bet recruiting tanks leaving a bare cupboard.
Combine this with butch's lack of big game decision making and we will be a dumpster fire.
SO WHAT THE HECK ARE WE WAITING ON?
START THE REBUILD NOW!!!

Actually although many are injured we have a lot of so called talent left, we don't lose a ton. The cupboard is not bare, it's not like a dooley situation. Our problem is talent it's injuries and coaching and developing the talent. GBO!!!!!

Alabama is on a different level as of now. It's not just within the SEC. Give Saban and kiffin a month to prepare and the result will be the same. They will dominate their playoff opponent.

Yes. Not sure where he would go but he's got the look and sound of a man who's ready to get out. I wouldn't rule out a move to any power 5 school. I'm not sure Houston wants a Butch type coach. That job takes a different personality than the one possessed by Butch to be successful.
