I'm sure the overwhelming majority want to play.

Unfortunately, players from the PAC12 and Big 10 and their list of demands are probably contributing to the idea of shutting it down this fall

This is why I quit caring about watching Sunday games. I have always thought Saturday's were the purest form of seeing some one give there all.

I just about quit watching , fantasy football is the only reason I keep some interest.

I'm a Steeler fan, but I'd say its been about 3 years since I've watched a complete game

College football got highjacked by politics this year... They're not going to play because of a virus with a 99.8 percent rate of survival and now a list of demands by players. Running from this virus was never the answer and has made life worse for everyone.

In case anybody is wondering how players feel.

I think we must remember that the huge majority of college athletes want to play and are good people. Unfortunately, the vocal few are instigators who create all the noise and mess we are seeing today. I'm not sure where along the way we thought submitting to the demands of the few was a good idea.

Very few , but with the loudest voices, kind of like what you're seeing around the country with these riots. They're driving the train and a lot of people are standing by and letting them..

The real issue is player's, coache's and fan's health and liability. of the NCAA, the Conferences, and the Universities. This virus is no going away this Fall. We will have to see what happens with the progress of getting an effective vaccine by the Spring. If any of the vaccine candidates prove to be safe and effective, we might see collage football in the Spring and next Fall. Lets hope for the best and be prepared to take advantage of the opportunities when they present themselves.

We’re all to blame for these player groups and their demands. We’ve created a bunch of 18 year old spoiled narcissists who’ve been given everything and still want more. Why is anyone surprised when grown adults hang on every tweet these 5 star athletes send out when they’re 16 and 17 years old? Coaches, parents, and their communities treat them like they’re infallible and the source of everyone’s happiness in the Fall. Programs roll out the red carpet just to have them visit their campus, parents spare no expense for personal trainers, camps, and equipment, and it goes on and on. Just watch the way these egomaniacs make their college decision with the hats on the table, pulling off jerseys, and other stupid stunts. Who is to blame? All of us

If you hate the players so much, why in the hell do you bother to follow college football?

The COVID requests are reasonable since no clear guidelines have been established. But demands for revenue sharing are absurd. It’s also not a good look for the star players being the ones making the demands, knowing if the schools cannot meet their demands they can simply opt out and go pro. What about all the other players that just want to play knowing they’re not going to the NFL? Who appointed the players to speak for all of college football athletes?

Maybe it's time to work on the GPA this year and get in the Weight Room and be ready for when you can play! Looking very doubtful now.

Really good post. Just like all the demands of the vocal few in life.Who really cares what they want or are upset about. Put God first in your life followed by family and work and I promise you your life will wind up being pretty darn good.

Look at what happened with Mike Gundy. Some player whines about a t-shirt he wore, and he's apologizing and giving up $ 1 million in salary as a penance. WTF I wouldn't let my son play for a candy ass like that.

Politics.

#WeWantToPlay won’t work

If it came down to forcing you to play you bet your ass they’d say play or your off scholarship.

What if a vaccine is only 50 percent effective at most? What if this virus is with us for several years?

List of player demands. There is an old saying "taking names and kicking ass". Better be glad I don't have the final say in this stupidity. All who are taking part in this act of "we are taking control and you can't do without us" would just be dismissed from the team, allowed to stay in school if they pay like other students, home or anywhere that would have them.
