This "HAT" guy is bitter about something. He is the type to ignore and he will go away. He is all about getting an audience one way or another.
I have never seen a positive post by "HAT".

Unless it involves Barry Switzer, Bob Stoops, Oklahoma football in general, or Bob Huggins.

Hat's not bitter or negative, he's just definitive . . . as hell.

Oh, I've called the Joel Osteen impersonator we've hired to coach football far more creative things than "Doofus" in the last 30 or so hours. Sadly, the PG nature of board language restrictions prevent me from using them here.

I got a good chuckle out of that.

Maybe he's mad because he has to practice law for a living..... Most lawyers I know are fairly miserable. Not all but most. The job sucks but the money is usually too good to walk away from.

This isn't the first time we've hired an errand boy for a championship winning Alabama coach. Bill Battle came to Knoxville after serving his apprenticeship under Bear Bryant. Look how well that turned out. On the bright side, at least Doofus never coached in Tuscaloosa.
Was Kiffin not an errand boy for a Championship coach?

Yes, considering he's already brought it to the brink of destruction.

That's the only reason I'm not so quick to dump the chump just yet, because I know who has his eye on the gig.
Hiring Fulmer as AD would be about as beneficial to the UT program as setting Neyland Stadium on fire.

I thought of LaRussa when we hired Dooley. Guys like that blow my mind. I never get what makes someone go through law school, passing the bar and practicing law to "Hey, I think I'll go be a coach."
Brian Kelly and Mike Leach did that also, didn't they??

It's amazing how simple the world is when everyone knows where they stand. Milquetoasts and fence straddlers are more detrimental to this country than al Qeada.

Be honest . . . it's just that you don't like other attorneys.

Oh, there are plenty of days I wish I had made that choice.

Well if you can't argue, plan a strategy, or convince a jury or a team. Be a Lawyer...........

The best Coaches today are men who gave up the discipline. The best lawyers today are coach wanna Be's.

He is also the only VN poster who can state he truly "Bleeds orange". Every time he posts, you can visualize the blood flow. Although i suspect the color is from rusty nails pounded into his rear end rather than any affection for the Big Orange. Him being a reverse carpet bagger and all. :eek:lol:

Don't know what this guy/gal does for a living and don't care. There are other ways to earn a lot of money (if he/she is in the law industry) He seems to be the Lane Kiffin of this site. Always writing something to get others riled up just for the sake of it.

I guess it works, here I am posting on one of his/her OP's!

As long as he doesn't develop and unhealthy affinity for pirates and use creativity in his disciplinary methods...

Aside from Dooley actually having Head Coaching experience, never having actually coached at Alabama and the Bill Battle hire being about 40 years ago, Hat has made an excellent analogy.

In addition to the fact fact that Battle was already on the Tennessee staff, and Dooley was not.
