Is doing some crying about Shreveport on twitter, could that be the bowl destination?

it is possible that Tennessee could be there. If Alabama loses Saturday, be impossible for Tennessee to be in any of the bowl of 6. They would fall to Shreveport or Birmingham or elsewhere, non SEC bowl. JMO

Not sure if I'm straight on this but the bowls may "draw straws" on ND. If Belk gets short straw, they would prob take NCSU. ND would be a big TV draw, NCSU would be a big tix buyer.

Disagree. ND has fans all over the country, and they travel as well as anyone.

Can the Fiesta, Cotton or Peach pick an SEC team? If I understand correctly, the Orange will pick an SEC team.

I used to live in Shreveport. Plenty of solid Cajun food and riverboat casinos. Not a bad place.

Shreveport is about as Cajun as a fargin' Golden Corral, brother.

You want food, stay south of Baton Rouge and, ideally, south of Lake Pontchartrain.

Whatever, wherever, just as long as we don't play Memphis. We have almost nothing to gain and after last week I'm not certain that we could win. Losing would be devestating in more than one way.

Many UT fans will not be spending money on a trip to Shreveport or Birmingham. Have a nice trip!!

This UT fan will be at the bowl game even if it is the Great Wall of China Bowl from beautifully polluted Beijing.

Looking at his twitter feed, he's asking why would anyone want to go to a bowl game in Shreveport, going further to the point of asking "why not have one in Knoxville?".

.....nothing what I would call slanderous. I'd say they were actually decent questions.

I would go to one in Shreveport. I even know a good place or two to eat there. :shades:

For Vol Nation in its entirety, a bowl game farther east might be better. But should it turn out to be in Shreveport, we'll find y'all some places to eat. :hi:
