I've noticed that other teams' fans are talking more trash about Tennessee this year than I've ever seen. That tells me one thing: people are scared. I just saw a guy saying Heupel could never win a championship at Tennessee, which obviously makes no sense when you look at reality. Tennessee has won 30 games the last 3 years and just keeps building steam when it comes to recruiting. My point? All the trash talk and BS talking points are just wishful thinking. If we send Georgia back to Athens with a loss next week people will go into full blown cognitive dissonance trying to justify how we're a gimmick program with a gimmick offense etc. Man, we're so close to breaking down the door you can practically smell the desperation on the other side. Agreed. During our 15 year journey in the wilderness, opponents didn’t bother talking about us at all. When you start to threaten them, folks will talk about you. What you mentioned about Josh is especially impressive with the dumpster fire that Pruitt left him.

Heupel is a good coach, don't think we will win a championship with him. He is a 8-10 coach. Schedule will get tougher next year, not so much this year or last
He hasn't won less than 9 games since his first year here. That was 4 seasons ago. He's a hell of a coach. The way he has these kids playing is straight up good coaching. And now he has one of the best recruiting classes in the nation. Like, I don't understand how you guys don't see what they're building right now. Heupel and Danny are putting on multiple clinics

Honestly consistently winning 9-10 games in this era is likely the upper echelon. I think with NIL and the portal the days of teams winning 3 natties in a row are over. You’ll obviously have teams that will always be near the top of the heap, but I think for most programs it will be more like the NFL for better or worse. You consistently win 9-10 games a season and every few years you hit the magic and win it all.

I kind of feel like nobody is talking about Tennessee right now IMO. Which is fine with me.
I agree. The AP poll is setting up for us to be unranked if we lose to UGA, and Bama still ranked. I know rankings don't really matter at this point but the optics are just a lot of disrespect.

Like I said, in the season he is a 8-10 win coach, how do you think I'm wrong about that? Also I do believe he is a good coach

Winning 8 games is completely different from winning 10 games. And Heupel has averaged 10 wins a season over the last 3 years. I'm going to keep beating this into y'all's heads until you understand how grateful we should be. After the Pruitt scandal, we had no business winning more than 6-7 games for a while. Heupel and his staff have outpaced and outperformed all expectations up to this point. Also they are a young staff with multiple guys who could be head coaches at other places but want to stick around to help build this thing up. That speaks volumes for their confidence in this team.

Last thing I'll say is this: Heupel turned a 3 win team into an 11 win team in 2 years. What makes y'all think he CAN'T turn a playoff team into another playoff team? Especially when our biggest rival is going through a generational fall from grace....

Anyone saying Heupel can't win in the SEC at this point is just voicing their hopes. He's proven he already can, and our talent level is still climbing. It kinda reminds me of how we talked about Urban Meyer when he was first hired at Florida.

Tennessee won’t win the SEC till they overcome Georgia. Heup is 0-4 against them that’s the monkey on our and his back. We need some championship hardware it’s been 27 long years since we won the national title heck even the SEC title and that’s the thing fans love to mock us about now the 1998 thing is becoming what the 1980 jokes were to Georgia. We are back to being a relevant and solid program under Heupel now we just need to take the next step and win the SEC and national title again.
