This thread is a prime example of why i feel huge desire for an "Ignore Thread" feature from Freak.![]()
So when what you said would happen, doesn’t happen, and you’re statement isnt close either...we all have a fair, and free shot to call you delusional. Just letting you know that it’s coming so you’re prepared.I am and always will be a Vol fan. But, I am also a realist, and hopefully, not delusional, like the majority of you, looking through your Orange-tinted glasses.

Who has UGA played with talent like TN....Auburn. I know, UGA beat the crap out of Auburn so that has to mean Auburn was overrated. Funny, they won't be overrated if TN beats them. It will be yet more evidence - like wins over unranked SC and Mizzou - of TN's return to greatness. Pruitt has pressure too. All this hype. Imagine what happens if UGA puts a beat down on him?Tell me who have they played that has talent like Tennessee? Especially upfront where it matters in league play.
The only people that are making these ridiculous statements are Borgia fans and former players.
If Tennessee loses they are suppose to
But...
If Georgia loses the pressure goes through the roof one more time. Season is pretty much done at that point and another year without any sort of title.
I have faith, that CJP will get us "There". I trust the process. But, I am not convinced, by what I've seen, that we are ready to beat UGA and Florida. Definitely not Bama.as opposed to you who quit before kick?
We all know good and well if Tennessee wins youll be in the victory threads saying I knew they would win...
I aint saying you have to walk around pounding your chest but have some sort of faith in the Vols.
As noted before , we have our starters back in the secondary. What we did in the first two games defensively is irrelevant. I believe Bennett is going to have a rough day.Even though we beat Mizzou bad they were driving the ball ALOT. Carolina also threw the ball ALOT on us. Our defense is not very stout if we're to be honest. Do we trust JG and Chaney to move the ball downfield and SCORE on regular basis? No doubt we are better than we have been in a while...and maybe we'll be better today w Shamburger back...and if JG has a great game and hits those wide open receivers....we have a shot.
Jackson has more than double the catches and yards than Pickens. However Pickens has 3 Td’s.The two main areas to watch are our offensive line verses their defensive front 7 and our secondary. Make no mistake, Tennessee is as good along the offensive line as anyone in the country. Georgia does not out talent us in this match up. Our secondary has played pretty pedestrian at times so far, but now with everyone back how do they play? Only one guy in Georgias receiving corps scares me (Pickens). The rest of their receivers are not world beaters thus far.
Rankings don’t really mean much this early in the season. Auburn has yet to beat or compete with any big team. Most people think they will have a pretty mediocre to bad season this year now.TN gets no credit for beating "ranked Auburn." UGA dominated "ranked Auburn" last week and you guys all concluded "ranked Auburn" was "overranked Auburn" and "terrible Auburn."
And you conclude that based off of being able to stop Arkansas and a struggling Auburn with young o lineman. You don’t know anything. I’m sure Georgia’s defense is great, probably best in the SEC, but they haven’t faced an O line like Tennessee’s yet. With a good game plan and a couple of breaks you precious bulldogs are in for a fight, and you’ll be 8 beers in clenching your cheeks during the 4th quarter.
Soooo that will be your excuse if Tennessee wins right?...Because they had a South Carolina type implosion...good to cover your bases and excuses I suppose...I still don't think UGA is all that good but I won't make up an excuse if UT loses...I'll just be upset that they lost to THAT UGA team.Tennessee loses because UGA will be able to move the ball and the Vols won't. Barring an epic South Carolina-level implosion by UGA, the Dawgs win this one by double digits.
Dominant, not dominate. You’re welcome.Auburn is struggling because they played Georgia.
But no, not based off only Arkansas and Auburn. Georgia had the best defense in the country last year and only lost one starter from that defense.
They didn't give up a single rushing TD to a RB all season.... and still haven't this year.
Love that Tenn O-line and RBs but that Georgia defense is too dominate & too deep.
Good luck.
I'll have no excuse if TN wins. I'll show up here at tip my hat to them.Soooo that will be your excuse if Tennessee wins right?...Because they had a South Carolina type implosion...good to cover your bases and excuses I suppose...I still don't think UGA is all that good but I won't make up an excuse if UT loses...I'll just be upset that they lost to THAT UGA team.
