Weinke is in?

They have already announced there may be a shake up in what position coaches are coaching. I personally think you make Weinke the QB coach and have Helton take RB's. If Helton is good enough to be OC he should be capable of coaching RB's.

Anyone is capable of coaching rbs.

Get your head out of your ass!

A solid QB could coach any position on the field. Think..for a second.

"Don't want a QB coaching our running backs. Just stupit. WTF?"

"When we fire Pruitt I think its time for Peyton to come home and be our HC."

Hey RB Coach!!! Get on your job, and go get Noah Cain from IMG!!! Oh, and while your at it, Gunnell wants to be recruited by a Heisman Trophy winning QB. After you're done, I'll have a few more for you to go get. :D

I'd rather have R.Gillespie who played the dang position. CW was a QB!!!

Obviously Gillespie had no trouble breaking the color barrier and if you don't think that's important these days you are mistaken.

Not happy at all but guess we will see.

If this is your honest take, you really should consider stopping doing the whole football thing. It’s about as ignorant a post as anything I’ve read on here.

Makes completely sense. Not.

Looks like a friend just hiring a friend even if it's not what is needed.

No, it looks like a head coach hiring a guy with phenomenal recruiting ties.

And I don’t recall your b**ching about your boyfriend Lyle hiring his friends Debord, Hoke and Canales.

I was interested in hiring this person awhile back based on his IMG connections. We have to sign QBs in the 2019 class and as has been discussed 2019 looks to be a very down year for QB prospects with the competition for the few top prospects being fierce. Hire makes sense.

I don't know much about CW as a coach, but good coaches can coach most any position. At one time Scott Frost was a DC.

So ...we don’t want or need a Heisman winning quarterback that just happens to have deep ties into one of the most talent rich high schools in the country and with SEC / NFL experience ? All righty then .

You going to stick with this thought when the RB's under perform, fumble the football all the time, etc.?

Didn't UT lead the conference 2 years in a row in fumbles under CRG? Not to mention UT was worst in the conference in offense last year, so tell me again about under performing.

So you probably don't think that Peyton or Tom Brady could coach running backs either I suppose?

I’ve seen some videos of Peyton informing his rbs where , when and how they should be doing their jobs ... and they all listened and did it too lol
