Aren’t there two “prime time” slotsUnless A&M gets absolutely trounced by Clemson in Week 2, you can assume that Bama-A&M will be the 2:30.
The only other remotely interesting game is UGA-Mizzou and both of those teams will like be 3-0. So I think it comes down to UT beating WVU, which would mean both UT and UF would go into Week 4 unbeaten. If they are, then UT-UF goes on in primetime. If not, it might be UGA-Mizzou.
We had just gotten crushed by Oklahoma and beat by UGA, and Florida had been beaten pretty bad by Bama.ESPN made it a noon kickoff in 2014. It was also the first Checker Neyland game. If Tennessee were to lose to West Virginia it could easily happen again. Just saying.

Unless CBS sees the better game will be UT/UF and takes that. Tamu Bama will be over before it starts. There are more than 2, actually, but generally the selection order goes CBS (afternoon) -> ESPN (primetime) -> SECN (noon). From there it's any combination of ESPN2, ESPNU, and SECN in primetime depending on what is happening in other conferences. So, I'm guessing that UT-UF and UGA-Mizzou will be the 2nd and 3rd picks, and the order depends on which teams are 3-0.
The weather for the OU game was perfect. 2016 Florida was the hottest and most miserable game I've ever been to....the outcome was great though.I'm hoping it's a night game. Will be coming in from Kansas City so I would like to enjoy more time tailgating. 3:30 is okay with me but heck it'll still be hot as hell. last year we came in for UGA and it was 3:30. 2016 we came in for the FL game where everyone was dropping like flies in the heat and 2015 we came in for the Oklahoma game and it was perfect. Still had some sun light at kickoff but night game in the second half. 6:00 would be my preference. Nonetheless, i'll be there!
