Micah Abernathy and Trevon Flowers were both getting work for the second straight day.
there was plenty of work for defensive linemen John Mincey and Emmitt Gooden and Tennessee continues to try and build depth there.
On the offensive side, the offensive line was working how they started last week with Drew Richmond and Tatum at the tackles, Ryan Johnson at center, Neihaus and Jamir Johnson at the guard spots.
-HubbsIn terms of the passing game, there was plenty of work on the vertical game. Kentucky hasn't given up many explosive plays this year. Obviously Tennessee has had some success stretching the field and that will be a key component to the match up on Saturday.
Wide receiver Jauan Jennings had his ankle noticeably taped, but was going through routes normally and was hollering as the Vols transitioned into their team periods, so he seems fine and good to go for Saturday.
Running back Ty Chandler also was going through reps normally. The Vols are at a full complement with Chandler, Tim Jordan, Jeremy Banks, Madre London and Carlin Fils-aime all getting work. It'll be interesting to see how much Fils-aime is part of the game plan on Saturday.
Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt spent the first part of practice with the running backs as they went through drills with the quarterbacks, and then he ran over to the defensive field to help the defensive backs go through their looks.
-Patrick BrownBrian Niedermeyer continues to work his tight ends hard and was particularly loud in coaching up Dominick Wood-Anderson and others in run-blocking drills. The tight ends haven't been great in that department this season
