We won so it’s not an “excuse” but REFS.

Replace the refs with AI. In all sports. It's only a matter of time anyway.
So we want to replace humans who won’t be held accountable for their errors with computers that won’t be held accountable for their errors?

I’d bet my house that if we replace refs with AI, fans will still complain about officiating, vis-a-vis calibration, software updates, etc. etc. instead of school affiliation and salary.

Heupel on last nights officiating crew…

“When it’s a ten to one penalty differential, you’re changing the way the game is played, too, so I guess we’ve got to play a lot smarter,” Heupel said.

“Yeah, I can’t speak to the explanation that I got. Our fans can watch it and judge for themselves what they thought.”

I’m glad he said that. They certainly aren’t trying to hide it anymore. Too much money involved.

This is needed going into Bama. Hopefully UTAD will make a stink about it too...not as much about last nights game, but to try and set narrative for TSIO.

Gotta say that Banks and his defense were much more problematic than the refs in this one. Instead of looking for external causes for our issues, perhaps we should look within? I'd start with Banks and the defensive staff and players along with the man that assembled this coaching staff.

The defense definitely struggled at times BUT :

They forced 3 fumbles

They had 5 or 6 sacks

The 1st 4 possessions for Arkansas in the 2nd half were:

Turnover on 4th down
Punt
Forced fumble recovered by VOLS
Punt

They took over the game in the 2nd half and played well enough to win this game easily if not for 10 penalties on UT and only 1 freaking penalty on Arkansas the ENTIRE FREAKING GAME IN NEYLAND.

This was the WORST attempted jack move by an official crew I have EVER seen in person and the crew should be suspended. Period.

Average dumbass fans, know little to nothing about the game, want high scoring games, so this is what you get. Not unlike the average dumbass race car fans who watch to see the "big wreck"...
