Arkansas was a hangover. A wake up call.

We stomp Georgia this Saturday. Everyone finds that chip they lost when everyone told them how good they were. They forgot they have to earn it.

Pour yourself a Bourbon on Saturday and toast our teams new identity when the clock hits 00:00. I'll be singing Rocky Top with the band

Season is already over save it.

Two very different O lines. Tennessee will have a very different defense. Can't wait to see that killer instinct back

And just who are our tacklers going to be? We're going to have a defense that can be on the field all day? I normally am an optimist but until I see a turnaround I'm not believing. Like I said earlier, I'm back to wishing & hoping for a win.:cray:

Some of Butch's best coaching has come against Georgia both years. I also think Vols win. I think that's why Vegas didn't set the line too high. I don't think Vols blow them out. Georgia won't get curbstomped two weeks in a row.

But Butch lost to Georgia both years. In football you have to close out games. If this game is a nail biter in the 4th then you bet against Butch every single time. Thanks to UGA's blowout loss last week there is no moral victory this year if UT just plays them close again.

In the first two quarters maybe. Dawgs will rush for 350+, wear down the D, and win 30-27. Because "process."

Now this part I do disagree with. At least one streak will end this year if it happens...which it more than likely won't.

I am beginning to worry about the mental state of UT. The Florida game had to create some problems internally- players are human too. I hope not, but that 2 pt fiasco and the disturbing way Butch reacted to the critics had to have made some players ( and players families ) lose some respect for him. I know I have.

Still? Please just stop. It's dumber than if I were to post "We get stomped by Kentucky-book it"

The random declarations of greatness are over done after the third loss. Especially after getting owned for the entire second half, again. By a horrible Arkansas team.

Judging by the way we didn't stop the run against Arkansas I doubt it goes well against the Chubb

And their QB was like 25/26 one game against a week defense, and we can't stop the run or pass. If I was them I would tell the punter he has the day off.

Hope this game isn't an embarrassing beat down on national TV. Please keep it close.

Doesn't it speak volumes that UT fans now are not wishing for victory , just don't get embarrassed . Sad state of affairs and unthinkable during the early 2000s. When will the nightmare end?

Can the Vols learn to tackle and pass cover in a peroid of 1 week, if so they make a game of it, if not, then Georgia rolls over the hapless Vols it's that simple.

This counts as a "I got a feeling" thread even though you didn't use the phrase "I got a feeling".

LOL...one of the most overused phrases on here.

Please explain why this team needed a wake up call.
