6. Freakish number of injuries ( true)
...Notre Dame was 4-8 last year, kept their coach, and now will contend for a National Championship
If you want to save money then fire Jones and hire a replacement from the D3 ranks for $500k per year. UT would probably be better coached.... and... if you're going to finish with a losing record in the SEC every year then you might as well do it cheap, right?1. We will save money ( true)
That's like saying a cop does a good job if the people he arrests make it to jail alive. Some things just have to be baseline expectations.2. He has run a clean program , as far as known.
Just lost his best recruit and the best player in the state this year. Lots of reasons... but the kid can't be impressed by the OL's Jones has produced.3. He has a good class lined up for next season ( maybe)
So... someone who isn't doing his job well enough to keep it shouldn't be fired because the person who fires him is new in his job? Can you name a work situation in which that would be acceptable?4. Currie is new in the job and a hiring mistake would get him fired ( maybe)
Very doubtful and even if he did... he has failed massively this year... AGAIN. This was a 9 win team. His best hope is 7 wins following two 10+ win teams that won 8. Jones flat out can't coach.5. Butch may win out , which would silence 50% of critics. ( not likely, maybe 30-1?)
For the 4th straight year... and the result of Jones 5 years of building depth? UT has none.6. Freakish number of injuries ( true)
Orgeron will likely be 7-3 after this weekend. He is FAR more likely to win out than Jones... which will leave LSU at 9-3 in his first year. Jones has yet to win 9 regular season games in 5 tries. That would also make LSU 6-2 in the SEC... It took Jones 3 seasons to win 6 SEC games.7. For every Saban out there, there are 5 Ogerons and worse ( maybe)
Yeah. People will keep buying a defective product... right?8. Ut is rolling in money because of FB profits ( if it aint broke leave it alone )
Is that a confession?9. Many Vol fans are acclimated to losing after the last 10 years and change would make them uncomfortable
Are you a troll?10. He is all we deserve, cause we are a basketball school anyway( i made afunny) . Ok snarks have at me.
So the difference between losing and losing with a crappy attitude is....?11. the team will quit as the Gators did.

One thing all theses schools who want new coaches don't seem to know, is that for every team that goes 12-0, another team must go 0-12. Somebody has to be the loser.
Every team can't win every game unless maybe we just don't keep score and give out participation trophies. That way there are no losers and nobody gets their feeling hurt.
This is a tough sport and very competitive. I look at it this way, CBJ has most likely played since he was in grade school, got educated and began coaching, and knows more about X's and O's than 99% of anyone who reads this forum. If it was that easy, don't you think CBJ would have more success. I agree Butch needs to go, but at least give the man some respect for trying. He has done nothing to deserve the poor treatment he has received. I love winning, but in the grand scheme of things it's really not that important. Would you want to be treated like CBJ's has been treated? What if it was your Dad, or your child?
And this means what for tennessee??
Stupid argument
Are you really from Soddy? Must be from red bank spoutin off that nonsense
