Yea well, if we trust TFG and his technical skills, it's user Error...lol, I actually did finish typing that out before I fell out on the floor laughing hysterically. It’s code for this stupid iPhone autocorrecting whatever it wants to, whenever it wants to. Should (and originally did) say become not before.
I hit 301 on a scale I didn't really believe in early spring with Steel Toes, long sleeve shirt and Jeans with keys, phones and knife in my pocket. My estimate (later proved) was that I weighed about 289 stripped down on the Dr. scales. That matches up to about 286 on my scales at home. I began slowly in the spring to watch what I was eating but really hit it last week of June. I eat a fiber bar every morning, then my day is made up of an apple, 1 - 2 protein drinks (Premier Protein - near 0 sugar) and a handful of almonds. I may have a pack or 2 of Tuna if I get really hungry. Try to eat a sensible dinner with no cheap carbs. I am down 30 pounds on my scales so I am "assuming" that I will be under 260 on the Drs scales tomorrow when I do my pre-op physical on Wed this week. My next goal is under 250 in 4 weeks on surgery day. Next goal is under 220 by Christmas. Final goal is around 200 by boating season next year. I don't exercise yet because of my knee and I have managed to screw up both rotator cuffs. When I get a month out of the knee the bike will start and I hope the weight loss will accelerate. The plan has been, don't eat it and you don't have to lose it.How long have you been working at it? What are you doing? I’m assuming there’s a thread with all this info?
also: that’s fantastic. congratulations man
Lulz. I need to eat more of them. One way to lose weight, and I highly recommend against it, is get sick and lay in a hospital bed for three months. I went from 190 to my current weight of 145. Can’t seem to put any weight back on.I don't think theys any testosterone in cream filled chocolate and peanut butter donuts.
I hate that for you, but I'm glad you're still here to complain about it.Lulz. I need to eat more of them. I’ve never heard that before. I don’t know if I could handle more flavor.I hate that for you, but I'm glad you're still here to complain about it.
Until I get serious about cutting out some of the stuff I eat, I'm not going to lose any significant weight. I've said it before, more than once, It's like I never had taste buds until I quit smoking. I'm still trying stuff. And lovin it. Sigh.
Very interesting @82_VOL_83 . I’m exercising, but I’ve ballooned to 230 now that I haven’t been able to run for over a year. Starting to ride the bike, hoping that helps. I want to get back to 200 by February
I never smoked and never really drank to excess such that it would cause a lot of weight gain. I'm not a sweets eater. I just like to eat. This has been incredibly hard learning how to just be hungry and learning when you are hungry and hangry. I try to never get so out of balance blood sugar wise that I am hangry and am learning how to survive being hungry. From someone that could consume a couple of days worth of calories in a sitting to under 1800 a day had been very difficult. It is something I will struggle with the rest of my life.Good luck to you both. I've quit drinking and smoking and neither has been as hard as trying to lose weight.
Licorice?!?!I hate that for you, but I'm glad you're still here to complain about it.

I went on a pretty strict diet for about 6 months a few years ago. 1000-1200 calories a day...it was one of the hardest things I've ever tried to do. BUT, it worked. I lost like 40 pounds.I never smoked and never really drank to excess such that it would cause a lot of weight gain. I'm not a sweets eater. I just like to eat. 300 lbs not a bad weight if you’re 6’ 9”, but for someone 5’ 9” that’s heavyI hit 301 on a scale I didn't really believe in early spring with Steel Toes, long sleeve shirt and Jeans with keys, phones and knife in my pocket. P.S. Unfortunately I have been restricted to about 3 beers a week and most of the time those are Mich Ultra's.
Fawk you......I think?300 lbs not a bad weight if you’re 6’ 9”, but for someone 5’ 9” that’s heavy
You losing 30 lbs in less than 3 months with NO exercise is amazing.
I’ll go a lil easier on ya now bout the pellet grill since I got better understanding that your rotor cuffs are shot & you can’t lift a 20 lb bag of charcoal, your knees are wore out form carrying a gut & you’re too damn fat to stand up very long to tend a fire.
Keep pushing brah & by boat season next year you won’t have to listen to the coast guard say “mam you gonna have to put your shirt back on”
Oh lawd @82_VOL_83 he just called you a rainbow300 lbs not a bad weight if you’re 6’ 9”, but for someone 5’ 9” that’s heavy
