We just hired another coach who has proved nothing.

Because the OP has no business posting crap like this on OUR board.....just like someone else we know.

U r kidding? Op has as much right as anyone else to post his opinion. We might say the doolyites have no right to post their garb on here. Half the people on here have not even attended the university

True but it doesn't go against it either.

I don't think it's a bad hire necessarily, but it's not a grand slam or even a home run. It's more like a solid single that may take a funny hop and wind up giving us extra bases.

It's simply a wait and see thing. Just because a bunch of bammers, drunk on winning two out of the last three BCS Championships, love a coach, it doesn't mean he is going to be great.

He was going to get a shot eventually. It just gets old having to settle for being the school that gives those shots.

Well, I have and I'm tired of the negative BS. I'm also tired of ***gy little gators trolling our board with their mindless garbage.

You certainly seem to fit the bill.

This isn't a grand slam hire but I still think its a home run hire. He has good past experiences and can recruit. Definitely worth a shot. Be happy guys

He may be a good recruiter. But just because he was a linebackers coach for a team who had amazing talent doesn't mean he'll be a good defensive coordinator here.

Some people wouldn't be happy if Saban himself were named DC. Welcome CSS! There is nothing we can do but get behind this hire and hope for the best.

You should really go read his bio before making comments. He has done way more than. coach at Bama. Proven track record in my opinion.

OP, ultimately what your saying is true but you should consider being tactful because you just sound like a whiny little vagina right now.

I've done my b*itching about Sunseri because he's unproven. Like you I, as are many more than likely, are worried but there is nothing we can do now. He's putting on the orange shirt so lets get behind him.

Welcome CSS, let's take care of some business.

John Chavis is regarded as one of the best DCs out there. Yet, even he had a rocky start when he took over. He was a LB coach that had never been a coordinator. Sunseri has been a coordinator, albeit at much, much lower schools. Will it transition? We will find out. No question the guy has a very good resume and pedigree.

How many guarantees do you get in life? I will take our chances that his past record gives him a great chance to be successful.

I would say our chances of being a better defense just jumped up by a bundle. Wilcox was pretty good, but I believe this will be much better because Sunseri knows about defense in the SEC.

Great hire!
