Well I will say we're playing a bunch of freshman which are his guys and they are the better players on the team unfortunately there's not enough of them, I'm curious to see how it goes with another recruiting class. If next year is kind of the same there'll be a problem

I liked a lot of what I saw as far as the fight and fire and flashes. We led the number 3 team and were within a score at the end of the half. We simply don’t have the depth. I won’t give up on this staff cause we all know they are good coaches. They just need to get more bodies to compete for 60 minutes.

Where is this improvement you speak of?

Even an inspired offense looked like garbage from the 2nd quarter on (minus a few nice catches). The D line could do nothing. The entire D looked bad. The coaches didn’t even try to run the ball until very late in the game.

I enjoy watching Tennessee play. I enjoyed watching them have motivation, I enjoyed an excited O for a quarter.....but how can anyone say the team is improving?

Heck you still got lineman, DB,s and LB’ lining up wrong or not getting lined up by the snap........in game 5.

Do not know if we have the right guy or not. Heard that too many times with part two coaches. However, I withhold judgement until year three bowl game and year 4 for New Years bowl game. Won’t judge him after year two. He needs right guys for 3-4 defense and does not have that yet.

We had the lead in the second quarter and still had a drive in the second quarter that ended with a missed FG. More than I even thought we would do. More than we did last time Georgia came to Neyland.

maurer is clearly the best QB on the roster and we're 1-4 mostly bc of QB play.
