I would consider myself an only child if that happened. Fortunately mine is a CFB fan :p

Ainge was a decent qb. Clausen was a decent qb. That's exactly what were arguing about the fact were decent, period. Some of us expect more, i would like excellence sometimes and most everyone on here does too. Thats the major problem we have as a program were decent, not the best but decent. Some are satisfied most are not.

I dont even think we need a star QB, we just need a mobile Qb. Cuz nowa days all the good qbs are mobile.

I know a lot of people are down on EA right now, but if he had the defense we put on the field in '05 i think we have a chance to be 12-0. Surround an above average QB (which i think EA is) with some talent and he becomes a star. Give him the '07 defense and he feels like he has to score 45 pts every game to win. Give him guys that run like me at WR, and you get the passing game we had this year. The QB always gets more blame than he deserves or more praise, depending on the game/season's outcome imo.

Ainge just wasn't tough. He had the mind just not the toughness. We probably don't know how good ainge could have been. He stayed hurt the whole time he was here.
