Then why did you insert "math" by claiming that 118 vs Auburn meant 225 vs UT? You gave a conclusion and Fade wants to know how you came up with it.... so do I.No math needed, Auburn has the best d line in the country, Tennessee doesn't.
Anyone who compares what Auburn did to them is crazy. AU has the best d line in the country and one of the best defenses. UT doesn't. UT's def looks slow and out of position consistently. The 225 was a tongue in cheek remark, I have no idea how many yards they will give up but I guarantee it will be more than AU did and likely by a large margin. Then why did you insert "math" by claiming that 118 vs Auburn meant 225 vs UT? I posted some numbers earlier that showed UT had better run D numbers vs UF than Auburn did. I doubt anyone here is delusional enough to believe those numbers stand alone. It was a different kind of game. UT was in a hole early because the offense was paralyzed by poor QB play. UF pretty much did what they wanted throwing the ball.
All that said, UT played the run well even early before the game began to get away from them.
I don't expect UT to limit MSU like Auburn did. But I expect them to be better than UK was.
So you are "guaranteeing" a future result that you have no means of influencing? That's interesting.Anyone who compares what Auburn did to them is crazy. Another good call.MSU has a RB Hill that averages 120 yards a game rushing. That’s 20 better than the next RB. He statistically leads in almost every category. Our run def is pretty bad. That’s not a good match up for us. So those thinking this is a pretty even matchup need to take of the glasses and look again. Can we win? Sure but we aren’t even.
