From the bottom in the SEC....IMHO.

Let's take a looksie!

We can't beat any of these teams:
Miss State
LSU
South Carolina
Ole Miss
Alabama
Georgia
Texas A & M
Missouri (with Franklin at QB)
Arkansas (with Tyler Wilson )
Vanderbilt
Florida

If we catch some breaks, teams we might beat:
Auburn
Kentucky


With this coaching staff, we are are a strategic disadvantage every time we take the field.

The quality of our players is perhaps about middle of the pack....IMHO.

Dooley must go!!!

Thanks for the heads up. Guess I shouldn't plan on going to the next few games. Heck, since you've made this statement, maybe we should see if UT will cancel the next 3 weeks to save some money.

When the other team is 3rd & 18 they get the 1st down. Our offense is playing good enough to win games but the defense can't stop anybody. So what I'm saying is, the way Missouri & Vandy are playing they will whip our butts. Kentucky is worst than we are but just by a hair so we get our revenge on them this year for sure. Looks like we end up at 5-7 this year...it's so sad to see that when we had such high hopes at the start of the season with a win over NCS.

Don't sure who we can beat but we average almost 35 points per game so I am sure we can score plenty on most of these.

If UT had any other defense this year, they would be 7-2 right now.

That's going out on a limb saying that about Wilcox. If I remember right, people on this board was ripping him pretty good half the time when he was DC. He didn't blitz enough here & didn't do this here blah blah blah...Wilcox needs to go back where he came from because this here is the SEC stuff. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say & the last I checked Washington Husky's aren't just tearing it up on defense these days either. So in my opinion he's not the answer we are looking for either. He took one of our top recruiters away in Peter Sirmon when he left is all that happened.

I'm not saying we would be tearing it up with Wilcox this year. But just an average defense this year which is the least we would have had with him would be enough to be 8-1 right now (even with this pathetic defense we had this year we were very competitive in every game until the end - except the Bama game).

Jackson, I agree, but how do we get the message to Hart and Cheek? They stay huddled under the "Cone of Silence," and listen to no one except Haslam, Peterson, and other "prominent donors."

However, Mizzou will be tough. They have QB Franklin and several other key players back from injury. They gave the Gators more than Mus-chomp really wanted. Vandy won't be a pushover either, not with our D.
