6 years??? That’s way too low. A good coach needs needs at least 10 years to compete with the likes of Kentucky and Vanderbilt. Maybe we’ll be back by the year 2050 in Jeremy Pruitt’s 33rd year as head coach.
At this point, I really don’t want to argue with any Vols fans because of what we are all going through, but so many coaches prove this post wrong.

If we think this HC and staff can bring us back to national relevance. I was a huge fan of the Pruitt hire, but now, with a solid body of work under his belt, I no longer think he can get it done here.

Saddened by what TN football has become.
I'd charge a third of what he is making and do just as well

But, but, but Pruitt’s boy JG is the team savior or else he wouldn’t be the starting QB. Pruitt is a genius. Holding BM and HB back in favor of his boy JG, not allowing them but a few reps each practice.

Seriously, Pruitt and his boy JG have sucked the life out of this team.

We have good athletes, but they are obviously not being coached/utilized properly. Many of the plays Bama is running are working because they have our guys way out of position. Our defense doesn't stand a chance. No excuse for penalties and turnovers.

Quotes like this is why we’re stuck in mediocrity.

Enough with the excuses.
Lol, get out. As long as we continue to hire the type of coaches we like to hire, it doesn't matter if we hire 1 every year or every 5 years.

Enough with the ignorance.

This. Either he is stubborn, trying to get fired, or perhaps Fulmer is giving him advice and he's proving a point. I just don't understand why we keep getting these jokers

We are not fooling ourselves. I called this shot the day the stupid Gump was hired. Hell I called it the day Fulmer was hired.

Pruitt will not have a "solid body of work" until he has at least 4-5 of his own recruiting classes that are 100% his. So far he has 2.

Dumb@$$ comment. Many, many first year coaches say “hi”

The problem is we wait til the bottom falls out and there is nothing in the cupboard. The new coach gets his year 0. Recruiting can’t be sustained. Rinse and repeat.

If I could like this x1000 I would. Absolutely. We are like Dr Strangelove, determined to ride that bomb all the way down.

Yep. It’s pretty plain to see what we have in Pruitt. Dudes a terrible head coach, and that idiot Fulmer extended him lol...

Where do we go from here? I mean how many coaches are we going to go through? Man, I really do not care anymore. I tend to get more things done on Saturday now. Its pretty much like the NFL to me now I am more a fan of the players tha. Teams.
