We are finishing the season on a 3-1 run

UGA also beat Arkansas 37-0, and Arky went wire to wire with Ole Miss @ Ole Miss. Comparing scores is always perilous, but if you've watched UGA this year and don't understand how devastating their front 7 is (they killed our OL last year too), you don't know football. Their offense is way better than they are given credit for too. UK is a tough team on the lines too and Levis at QB is better than what they have had in recent years. If we were to go 1-1, the next two games we should be very, very happy and there is no disgrace at all going 0-2, especially if we are competitive.

My issue is Georgia hasn't played anyone. Arkansas has been on free-fall since losing to Georgia and is currently 1-3 in SEC Play and at the bottom of the SEC West standings.

Their strength of schedule is ranked #2 nationally. They are 7-0 against a schedule that includes only 1 team with a losing record (whom they beat 62-0). Other than UGA, Arkansas lost by 1 point to Ole Miss at Ole Miss and to Auburn. UGA beat Auburn 34-10 at Auburn and also beat 6-1 Kentucky. UGA's opponents have a 31-15 record against teams not named UGA, that's pretty good.

At this point a loss to Kentucky will be extremely disappointing.
Kentucky is a very solid team. We’re thin, really thin at some positions. Have to wonder how many guys are playing injured as well at this point in the season. I wouldn’t be surprised if this goes either way honestly at this point.

We’ll see.

I suspect Georgia is a little overrated but still a damn good team. I don’t see us winning but I would still be surprised if they took Bama this year.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what happens. If they were just two generic teams I saw play I'd think UGA was better but Bama is still Bama til they ain't.

Agree.

Clemson victory is nothing impressive now. Idk what to think of Arkansas, Kentucky maybe an impressive victory but who knows. Every year we say how Bama is ready to take a step back and every year they’re the last team standing.

. When was the last time we beat a ranked team and on the road at that ?

2018 Auburn. But how is that relevant? Are we the same team as in previous years? Has our offense been this explosive? Oh and UK struggled to beat UTC, SC and Missouri. And since you like to use the past, we beat the brakes off of SC and Missouri. While UK barely beat both.

Yeah, I don't know if UGA will make the playoff or not, I was just responding to the guy who said they hadn't played anybody. That's pretty preposterous when their SOS is #2. SOS is an objective formula, it's not designed to make any particular team look good, it is what it is.

That doesn’t mean anything they still beat them they also blew out LSU and actually beat Florida something we can’t do under any circumstances. Wow 2018 I didn’t know it had been that long. I didn’t think Auburn was ranked in that game.

I watch Georgia a lot because they are my least favorite team.
I begrudgingly admit that their defense this season is outstanding.
Many of them will play on Sundays.
For us to upset them, we would need them to give us some turnovers and us play a near flawless game offensively and get some lucky bounces and some big plays on special teams.

???

Georgia beat a down Clemson team 10-3 and got lucky to win that. I am just not confident yet that Georgia is the world beaters that they are made out to be. We will see when they play Florida this Saturday. Florida is really struggling but they still have talent and could compete with Georgia.
I am not trying to devalue your opinion, but I believe Georgia is the best team this year. Nobody is putting up points on them this year. If we beat Georgia, it will be because Georgia finds a way to lose at least one game per year, every year. I wouldn't hate it.

We must improve offensively or it's going to be 6-6, which is pretty successful considering the sh** show Heupel inherited
Agreed. The play calling and game management is still suspect, IMO, and although they have improved there is still a lack of execution in the pass game.

Why, do you feel this way? We were predicted to lose to Alabama by 25 well we lost by 28. Not exactly over achieving.

With a smaller roster...and many of the talented starters that Pruitt had leaving with him and his Happy Meals.
This staff is obviously ahead of where most expexted them to be in year one and most gootball knowledgeable people recognize this fact.

UK is tough and physical and likely will not be an easy win. However this is a winnable game and IMO we should win this game.
