Do they update player stats throughout the season? If so, Bray's gonna need to to get a big accuracy and power boost in the game.

All day. EA buying exclusive rights to NFL games is one of the worst things to happen to video games in the last decade.

You can do it yourself. You can also do it in dynasty mode this year. Along with player height, weight, etc. I haven't tried it yet, but you can edit ratings in online dynasties as well.

On a side note, I was reading yesterday about the game engine and they have been using the same engine since '99. How can they still be having such big problems when it's been used for over 10 years now?

I highly doubt it's the same engine, but it's an updated and redesigned engine...

Yep... Asked my brother about this who is a reasonably competent programer, said that even though it's the same engine, it's far from a copy and paste situation, although it's apparent that ea half asses it in ncaa

Another Reason 2k Sports>EA

Yeah that NCAA Football the 2K put out in the past was the best game eva:crazy: Not to mention the gold that was 2K hockey and 2K MLB for the last 5 years. Everyone seems to be hitching their 2K fanboy love to NFL2K5 which was good, but not without a lot of flaws itself. The only good franchise that 2K has had has been NBA, imo.

If they made football games even half as good as NBA 2K11, it would destroy Madden and NCAA.

Competition is good for the market, I agree. But, people who think 2K will just blow people away with a football game might be disappointed. Their last attempt in APF was pathetic even if they had a NFL license.

I don't think 2K got into the online play that we have now & that's where a lot of problems come from.

If you think online with EA is bad, try playing a random game on the 2K servers, they are notoriously bad

Well that too but I was talking about gameplay. They never consider all the d***heads who simply play to find every glitch & gimmick they can. At least madden filters out some of the bs'ers & NCAA is just the red headed stepchild.

They would have gotten a much, much larger source of funding if they had an NFL license. Like you said, EA buying their way into a monopoly has killed the competition and made the games worse.
