Ways to fix NCAA 12

I just deleted my PBs & started over. I tried to edit my old ones but they were totally wrong. The name at the top was Duke2 & I don't know where the hell that came from. Also everytime I edited & saved it created a new pb instead of overwriting the one I was working on. I also couldn't delete ace bunch as a formation.

Good luck with that. As far as I can tell there will be formations you can't get rid of in every base book you pick. I haven't found one yet. What I think is very sour is all the missing formations, and plays. Maryland I, for example, only has 3 plays now. What happened to the other 10-15?

I did he defense because it was easier & it seems to be ok. It'll probably take half an hour to do offense.

Maybe they got rid of what they thought were "glitchy" plays. Idk I'm just starting over from scratch.

Doubtful. It's an EA patch. They usually break more than they fix.....

I remember last years 2nd patch induced the backwards pump fake where all the DB's would chase the QB when it happened. This patch has only been out a couple of hours, I'm sure way more problems will introduce themselves.

Possibly. A very slight tuner adjustment would have been enough.

Saw that too. The PA power O play was virtually unstoppable from that formation. Ace bunch will not delete no matter what.

I-tight is gone & Maryland-I tight has 3 plays. Can't delete ace bunch no matter what you try to do if you pick Tennessee as a base PB.

Probably a good choice.

I waited till this week to buy the game as I knew the patch was coming. Now I regret it. Even if they do fix it with another patch, football season will probably be near it's end. The EA NCAA team obviously is not very skilled with this engine, otherwise it wouldn't have taken 2 months to release this shoddy patch. I'd be embarrassed to release this. Maybe that's why they have remained silent over the course of this patch.....They knew they were in over their heads. Maybe something good will come from this, who knows. I'm hoping they replace the entire NCAA team.

Lol. I did all my pb's over & there was no I/tight. Now when I play & load them I have I-tight in game.

Special teams is also in a separate play box. When you no huddle the only play is verticals.

Just got a tuner download. Haven't played but I'm sure it will jack something up. So far the patch has screwed up no huddle, custom PBs, & removed some plays & formations.

May be just be me but, before the patch, I would struggle passing. The D-Line doesn't seem to be as aggressive as it once was. I like to stretch the field and pound the ball. I can now sit in the pocket 5-6 seconds or more on passing down. I'm also noticing elite lineman never get penetration on run plays even though they are matched up on someone they should beat off the ball 9/10 times. Played 3 games UT vs Bama, Oklahoma, and LSU (Tried to play Stanford, but they became a no huddle team all of a sudden). AA no adjustments. Same results, I win easily. I'm not sure if the coverage has changed as I really couldn't tell. I never had any pressure to make me rush things. I was able to complete a lot more passes, but I had all day to find someone that was open.

On the bright side, Denard Robinson took off on me a few times. Glad to see that happening now. Of course playing a CPU team with no huddle is frustrating since the patch broke it for both sides of the ball.
