Can you read? Do you speak English? Where did I say they are one of the 4 best teams in the nation, or better than UGa or OSU?? Read my lips: my questions to you are (1) should they have turned down the bowl invitation and (2) would you turn down the bowl invitation in the very unlikely event that you ever found yourself in their situation? If your answer to either question is anything other than yes, your calling them a "fraud" is intellectually dishonest.

LOL you are totally missing the point. Whether ND accepts or rejects the invitation to the playoffs is completely irrelevant to this discussion. The bottom line is ND has nestled themselves into a situation where they can perennially get into the playoffs without enduring the grind of a power 5 conference schedule or compete in a conference championship game. That gives them a decided advantage over teams who are much better and much more deserving. The sports media overrates them every single year because they WANT so badly for ND to be relevant for god knows why. QED, they are FRAUDS!

Maybe we can convince the backup QB at Clemson to transfer to UT. Surely he knows he will never start at Clemson as long as Lawrence is there.

Yes. Every time they are in one of these situations they get curb stomped. I hate ND and am surrounded by their obnoxious fans here in the Chicago area. I loved seeing them get abused today.

But I can take solace in knowing that ND will NEVER be competitive in those playoff games until they actually have to face the competition of a conference championship...

And even then, it was obvious to ANYONE with any FB IQ that UGA deserved to be in the playoff.

But NO to OSU.....when you get beaten by 30+ by PURDUE......

Clemson is way better than anything UT ever put on the field. UT was rarely even the best team in the conference. They have maintained a level of success that is second only to Bama.

I don't agree with this. They aren't way better than Tennessee was from '95 to '98. They sure as hell don't play in a conference with a team as good as Florida was in those years either. And their "level of success" since 2015 isn't better than what Miami did from '88-'91, Nebraska from '94-'97 or what Florida State did from '97-'00.

From the perspective of current recruits, those teams in the nineties did not exist. None of them were even born yet when Tennessee was relevant.
