Still trying to get things back to where they were.

My pulse rate has slowed dramatically, I can rarely get it much above 100 except on pretty extreme hikes, and my heart rate recovery is weirdly good (it slows back down very quickly.) All this gets me "you're doing great!" in heart recovery time, but I dunno, something's going on there. I had a VERY brief period on metoprolol and refused to take it after a few weeks. Felt like a truck had hit me, and it didn't do my asthma any favors.. Ugh, hate beta blockers.

My Samsung 4 had it and of course the 6 does as well. I liked having it. I've heard several stories of it saving lives, some were Samsung and some were Apple. Obviously they didn't tell what was wrong just that something was off so go see the Doctor.

Was just reading an article that mine and Bills are Gen4 and only the Gen5 have the sensor for that and skin temp, so we're not getting either.

Not a big deal, but those are 2 of the 3 things I do like about the Samsung better. Still the Garmin is far superior.

We just had covid for the first time last month. Went back to hiking and working out, and we are not where we should be. Of course my sinuses still being inflamed probably doesn't help, but it's disappointing the setback.

I didn't wear a watch until my dad bought me a nice Seiko for Christmas in 1997, the year I moved here. I got used to it now I don't feel right without it.

I didn't read that it was a fix but I see a huge difference in how smooth scrolling is now. It's as smooth as the Samsung.

I see the Body Battery change and Naps. I see the Large Font and Night vision toggles but haven't figured out exactly what they do. Lol

Edit: now I see, glances are larger fonts.

Sweet. Notifications are supposedly getting images which is cool. I hope they actually show text too.

Thanks! I've got it, the Garmin 255s and 265s in my Amazon cart, watching for the black Friday sales. 255s is on sale better than the Samsung (without considering trade-in).

I'm still in conflict because I feel that is the better watch, but the look and feel of the smaller Samsung is better for me. Small wrist problems.

I actually understand that. I didn't get the Epix2 because of its size. But I'm telling you, these 265/965 are badass. Lol, now that I have it there's not another watch I want over it.

Well, good luck with whatever you do, either way you're gonna have a great watch. Let me know when you get one.
