only immediate guess is it might due to specific faces. but that’s a total guess. I’m off to try to mow before the rain comes
Garmin glucose level tracking app rolls out but with caveatsDo any of these watches monitor glucose ?
Which one is the deal-breaker? (lost track)Hope you're enjoying your watch Bill. I'm having 2 issues. 1 that I'll figure out as I'm sure I'm missing something, but the other is a deal breaker if I can't get it fixed. I'm joining the Beta program this morning to see if the new update they haven't released to everyone yet fixes it. If not I'll at least have access to a forum where my comments will be noticed by Garmin.
Gesture during activities. Most aggravating thing I've experienced with a watch. Added frustration now because I've figured some other things out that have me liking it more, like the battery. I'm going on 4 days and over 3 hours of GPS use and still have 61% battery.Which one is the deal-breaker? (lost track)
Oh, meaning that the face lights up/ brightens up when you don’t need or want it to? Or the finger-thumb touch etc as a shortcut to bypass the usual controls?Gesture during activities. Blah blah blah. Pisses me off.
During an activity I have it set for AOD (Always On Display) and Gesture (light up the screen to full Brightness when I raise my arm to look at the watch. When my arm is down and beside me it is on but dim. It's supposed to go to full bright when I raise my arm. It doesn't about half the time.Oh, meaning that the face lights up/ brightens up when you don’t need or want it to? Or the finger-thumb touch etc as a shortcut to bypass the usual controls?
If so, I probably need to do the same on my watch. Apple Watch 8’s are ludicrously battery-impaired. Do you have the equivalent of Accessibility on your Garmin? Don’t know if that’s involved with your situation.
Well, that would drive me bananas. Either work 100% of the time or 0%, no “maybe” setting.During an activity I have it set for AOD (Always On Display) and Gesture (light up the screen to full Brightness when I raise my arm to look at the watch. If I turn off AOD and leave Gesture ON it doesn't come on at all. Well, maybe 1 out of 10 tries.
Whenever it doesn't work I can touch the screen to wake it fully.
It works fine in General use, it's only an issue during my running.
Well, YEAH!! Lol.Well, that would drive me bananas. Either work 100% of the time or 0%, no “maybe” setting.
Good luck.
