Have you ever been white water rafting in East Tennessee? We might be even.
Yeah I dont understand why Colorado, Colorado st, Wash st, and Washington aint all top ten teams.Let me break it down for you...
Washington - recreational weed is legal.
Tennessee - medical weed is illegal.
That's all you need to know about the cultural/political divide.
I did over 20 years ago. We went back each summer for 6 years in a row growing up. My grandpa grew up near Cades Cove. Dad grew up more near Kingston.
Anyway, East Tennessee is beautiful, but has nothing on the Pacific Northwest. Mountains, rivers, lakes, Cascades, Olympics, Hoh Rainforest, Puget Sound, Islands, ocean, etc...
You should go kayaking in the San Juan Islands when a pod of orcas go by. **** me.
...we might never know how much effort Currie made. I hope he works hard to make the hire, if it's not already too late.
Florida will probably get Frost, and we might never know how much effort Currie made. I hope he works hard to make the hire, if it's not already too late.
Why would anyone assume Florida would get Frost? They need to get in line behind Nebraska first. There is nothing special about the Gator job... even though the ESPN junkies want to make people think it. :snoring:
He does have a lot riding on this. He created this mess by pushing Fulmer out the door now he needs to clean it up..
If his choice fails, he may be on the chopping block in about 5 years or if he blows a 2nd hire.
Kelly and Frost were reported to be Florida's number one and two candidates. Kelly just announced for UCLA. Frost is coaching UCF, which is in Florida, just down the road from Gainesville. I think Florida is a much better job than Nebraska, with a far better talent pool for recruiting. Just because Frost played two years as a Cornhusker does not mean that he would choose to coach Nebraska over Florida.
He didn't just play there 2 years.
He was born there, he grew up there, he was a high school hero QB there, he was a college QB hero there winning a national title. Both his parents went to school there and both were in athletics there...... His m. The connection is stronger than I realizeds...... He also started his coaching career at Nebraska.
Sure he may not take the job..... But he is connected to the school...... Way more than just 2 years playing.
