SIU attempts to normalize a hypothetical in which ethnic cleansing is the only way to stop a war that needed never be started

a war that russia lied about planning for years in real time when people like him were gobbling up the lies and repeating them to us on this message board (and thousands like it)

after they launched this war these same worms lie to us again by saying it was inevitable and our fault

we should all bully and mock people who advocate or excuse using nuclear weapons against innocent people for no reason.

Well, if they are not wearing a uniform I would say they are not a member of the military. I guess it would depend on your definition of terrorism and military action. Russia is actually prosecuting some under law instead of being handed back over in prison exchange especially foreign mercs.

I don't necessarily see anything wrong with it at all, all's far in love and war but yes, I would be more willing to classify it as terrorism. It doesn't matter what you call it, its not material to impact the war.

I'm not saying we should print unlimited sums of money, but we can. This isn't a beans and rice diet budget moment. We need to cut back, but the idea we can't afford to do something isn't true. We simply can. And it's not like we're paying back some bank seeking profits to maximize shareholder value...it's paying interest to mostly Americans.

that interest is about to be the 3rd largest line item in our budget, passing the military. so again, no I don't think we can afford it.

your argument about how we the people aren't a bank misses the point, we are going more indebt to service the debt we already have. doesn't matter who its to. we are already sending the money somewhere, and unless you are different than me we aren't getting any dividends from those interest payments.

Mr. Trump has already conceded to Mr. Putin’s demand that Ukraine not be allowed to join NATO after the war ends. Now Russia is rejecting the French-British Plan B, which would put some of their troops in Ukraine after the war, though not under NATO auspices.

This is the essence of weakness exhibited by Trump. Russia is taking advantage of it.

Trump is a bully. That’s it. It’s how he’s done business for his whole life. He bullies people into doing what he wants. In order to look like he’s accomplishing something, he’s trying to bully Zelensky. It’s easier, of course, to bully someone who needs something from you.

Trump can bully Putin, but I am not sure he is strong enough or consistent enough to do it.

Enhance and enforce sanctions against Russia.
Cut off Russia's oil money by sanctioning China and India.
Enhance the production of oil and gas in the US.
Put in place policies that promote LNG exports from the US to Europe.
Encourage LNG terminal development on the Eastern Seaboard of the US.
Force Europe to purchase US natural gas.
Take public stances in favor of Human Rights in Ukraine, demand the return of the 20,000 children that were kidnapped from Ukraine.

Trump cut off weapons shipments and ordered the cessation of intelligence sharing (which immobilized the use of HIMARS). That has hurt Ukraine. He should change these policies.

Force the $300B in Belgium banks to be paid to Ukraine for rebuilding. Do not allow Russia to ever receive these funds.

Trump has damaged Ukraine's negotiating position by pressuring Ukraine to accept Russian positions. He should change this.

These are signs of weakness. Trump cannot do this, because he has adopted a policy of weakness towards Russia.

Like Biden, Trump keeps talking about the Ukraine war leading to WW3.

Trump must project strength to Russia, not weakness.

I think the response was to an accusation that Russian election interference would mean Trump is a Russian asset. I don't think anyone is claiming that they're happy if Russia tried to interfere with an election as much as thumbing their nose to the false logic that if Russia tried to interfere, it means that Trump is compromised.

Geez, folks. Talk about a big red herring. Someone makes a wild accusation about Trump and then you guys jump to the above ridiculousness. It's a HUGE misrepresentation of the conversation.
