So many idiots on here only focus on the numerical rankings and think that there is some big difference between the class Florida signed and what Tennessee signed. I would not trade Tennessee's class of 2025 for Florida's.

We have fans who obsess over the numerical list ..... and don't realize that between 7th and 12th overall just isn't much difference. I will say that we obviously do need to recruit WR's better than we are and that is a concern.

I lived in Greensboro for a short time in 2002-2003, and it's only about a 3 hour and 40 minute straight shot to the UT campus down I-40. Whereas, Nico was a 3 hour and 15 minute flight to Knoxville. Faizon is also more outgoing and self-confident. He seems more like his own man. I don't think he is under the control of an over-bearing parent.

Heupel's recruiting is at least on par with every team in the SEC with the exception of Alabama, Texas and Georgia. I acknowledged that there needs to be improvement at WR .... but that is about it. They can't recruit offensive linemen .... but they just signed the #1 OT in the class of 2025? You are a rodeo clown on steroids.

Tennessee isn't going to recruit at elite levels without first doing something amazing on the field. al-la OSU making a run to the title amazing, not just beating Alabama in the regular season which should be a given.

you have to take what you have and show the recruits how good it will be to play at Tennessee THEN they will come.

CJH has been the best thing to happen to this program in 2 decades. Don’t get me wrong sometimes I’m frustrated that we aren’t recruiting top 5 but I think we can get there with time. We also have to realize what he’s done has been remarkable. If we had some better QB and WR play last year we would’ve been a national championship contender. CJH has proved this team can adapt and win on defense too. We may not be a dynasty to rival 2010’s Alabama soon but we can make a national championship runs when the roster clicks together and we have some experienced players stay.

Coach has proven he can win games with a passing attack, win by leading the SEC in rushing (again) and win with great defense. It looks like CJH has this program in position to make the playoffs about 50% of the time, and land top10-12 recruiting classes every year. Thats all any reasonable fanbase could ever hope for in this NIL era. There will never be another dynasty like Saban had at Bama...and thats a GREAT Thing. Last years playoffs showed that there are likely gonna be maybe 6 teams every year with a decent shot at winning the tournament (playoffs) and getting that Championship trophy. Coach Hype can get us into that highest echelon. We are damn close now. Theres a reason we are always battling UGA, Bama, and OSU for all these bigtime recruits. Its because we are finally ready to start competing for Championships soon. If Jake has a good RS freshman campaign this year, we will be in the playoffs next season with a decent shot to win it all IMO.

That is the biggest issue I have with the staff and the football program. You can't charge a relatively high talent fee and not really bring in any talent that they weren't already regularly bringing in without the talent fee. It's like the Braves. What about the last four years of oline high school recruiting? They haven’t recruited or developed 1 guy! Who has started or played significant minutes? So, five years later, we have one player that we don’t even know about yet? ... by 3 schools, he is getting out-recruited. There was no discernible difference between Tennessee's class of 2025 and that of LSU, Auburn, Texas A&M and Florida's.
