I'm going to lmao if Von wins a game for us this year. Volunteer08 and Gary single handedly saved our season.

CBJ may be part of those sending the message or could also be on the receiving end...hard to say. But, it makes a lot of sense to me this is an opportunity to make a point or teach a lesson. I think we all know damn well this sort of thing is a major embarrassment to everyone affiliated with UT, including the members of this board. With a highly anticipated football season fast approaching, the timing for a lesson such as this couldn't be more powerful. Unfortunate, yes, but a great opportunity to drive a very important point home to a group of young men.

Anyway, this makes sense to me and might explain the slow path to where we find ourselves today.

Well, Williams was kicked off the team and AJ saw his career end prematurely without the thrill of making it to the bowl game. Despite these punishments, it still didn't deter Von from making a bad decision or 2.

The point I was trying to make is if the price AJ and Williams paid wasn't enough to get everyone's attention, then maybe another harsh reminder might do the trick. Hanging in the wind for about 4 months with little in the way of good news hopefully might drive the lesson home.

Rusty for sure, but definitely wasn't sitting around doing nothing. He has 4 weeks before the season starts, a warmup on the 5th and another week to do any fine tuning.

I don't know If von would be too rusty.. Seems like this came up the day before the range and white game. He went through spring football with the exception of the game. He's missed team workouts but I'm sure he did that on his own. He's only missed a few fall camp practices as well.

I thought Bob Meuller would be on here with all of that inside info telling us about how Von has been accepted and announcement coming soon. Oh wait...that would be good news and he doesn't do good news for the Vols since he is a big troll that got a job at UT!

If I recall, there were rumors or accusations that he had exposed himself. I don't want to make a blanket generalization, but if true, that sort of action often has an unhappy ending.

Otherwise, I've been doing things wrong my entire life...
