Right. It's so stupid. I honestly respect and like opposing teams fans much more than the NegaVols constantly complaining about everything. Some people are going to complain no matter what UT does...because they are miserable people. Misery loves company, and Johnny Majors was right.
I like the people who complain about the complainers. We r loaded with them

Indiana LOS dominating both sides against everyone. We haven't even shown flashes of looking like that. And they're doing it without the #3 ranked class in the nation. So what's the solution? It's obviously not 5 star talent. Is it strength and conditioning? Accountability? Coaching?
Awwwww....You know it has to be the coaching. It fits your narrative.

Those guys are MEN. Mature, physically and mentally, makes a HUGE impact.

Saw where the average IND player is 23. The average Green Bay Packer is only 25. I believe this is their "secret sauce". As well as being very good at identifying players in the portal that fit their scheme and are experienced. Cignetti brought 25 handpicked players with him from JMU also...who knew his system and won 10+ games a season.

Everybody on the ESPN hates us, announcers hate us, media hates us bandwagon when nobody hates Tennessee like Tennessee fans themselves.

Lots of coaching and luck involved as well. That IU team is just a team that is coached well, disciplined, and just clicked well playing together. Hard to get it to all go right like that. Would love to see us replicate it before I die.

You can't base things on outliers. Indiana is a complete outlier to the last 30 years of college football. Ever since recruiting rankings became a thing you needed top ranked classes to compete for championships. You don't just throw out a quarter century's worth of data because one team bucked the trend.

Idk that you’ll see anyone repeat it. Cignetti is the real deal though. He just happened to also hit on Mendoza as well.

We've completely revamped the defense in a matter of days!

Question now is can we get anyone key on offense? QB is the biggest question mark.

Having the oldest team in college helps. They are older than the green bay packers avg age.

This without counting the Safety we just landed. Maybe the premature wailing and gnashing of teeth will stop. There's always a couple trolls and Negas though...

I'd like to know what our current roster ranking is. We have lost a few. Great metric to publish and gain some traction with... most telling too.

Have we hired a S & C coach? I haven't seen it posted if we have.

Need about 10 more portal guys. The old high school rating BS is over. Talent monopoly from schools in deep south is over.

Scout smaller schools that win championships, military base teams and traditional black colleges. Keep track of unsigned kids from the portal for some Last Chance U preferred walkon slots. Have about 200 men ready to play at all times.

Nah Tennessee has the number 3 class in the country combining both recruiting and the transfer portal
No one is denying the ranking of the recruiting class, but the portal flows both ways, and the faucet has been running out more than it has in. It’s just the reality of immediate needs versus trying to build a program old style. How many of those true freshman will contribute significantly this coming year? The wash out rate on HS players is already high. With the portal? Cone on. Look at what we’ve lost out of the portal. Let’s not act like we weren’t on here “booming” those kids when they signed. We’ve essentially lost all our proven depth on OLine. We return a lot, but injury could prove devastating. We lost a 5-star signee, who was one of our only returning edge guys. Our most experienced DB at an already thin and inexperienced position.

Guys who contributed last year who left in the portal: Heard, Herring, Ross, Peyton Lewis Boo Carter. That's five players. We have 8 immediate contributors added from the portal. I'm excluding the tackle from LSU because I don't think he's a starter. Also, in regards to Heard? He asked for $3 million and wasn't willing to move to the right side so Sanders could take over the LT slot. Like get real dude, we return four starters on OLine. Last year we returned one. I just want you to know that your discomfort with everything is completely unwarranted. Our coaches are absolutely killing it right now
