It’s your demeanor when talking to me along with your tendency to put words in my mouth and/or attempting to create a false narrative against me, such as conspiracy theorist. I don’t disrespect you or anyone else on this board and expect the same in return. That’s what I don’t think you understand. Most people don’t get on here to find an argument. They get on here to have intellectual conversations about football. But people like yourself, Butchna and a few others keep boards like this from being a place to come and have pleasant conversations with people that share your passion. So I’ll say it now so you don’t forget it. IM ALL ABOUT QUARTERBACKS and I’ll be commenting on mostly QUARTERBACK conversations. Look for me on any thread so you can dissect my every word.

Man to be honest Ive been a qb coach for years so I’m obsessed with that position and I’d be lying to you if I told you anything because I can’t help but keep my eyes glued to anything qb or the offensive side of the ball. I know it sucks that Gooden went down being our most experienced but I trust Pruitt to get someone ready to turn some heads.

I know you don't see it but you might be surprised about who talks down to and disrespects everyone else's understanding and ability to know what they're seeing.

Still, I say very little about it and take playful jabs at most. When I would be more than justified to give suggestions on what I think of your condescending lectures.
That we are all just following rankings because we're not smart enough to have formed our own opinion. Constant comments suggesting you have to educate anyone that disagrees

You suggest some pretty wild things but get mad if someone uses different language to respond. You want us to believe the "inaccurate reporting" by everyone in attendance but get offended if I call that what it's really suggesting.

Say it with tact, call it something different, but I'm not going to just to make it sound better. Which is why you're mad.

Alright.... let me start by telling you I’ve gained respect for the way you post. You never seem to come AT anyone BUT when it comes to me you seem to take more than just a jab. I’ll be the first to tell you I don’t like it when I see someone twisting someone else’s words, degrading their opinions, putting words in their mouth or attempt to start “rumors” by painting them into something they are not. So I damn sure don’t like it done to me and that’s where you pissed me off. I’m a grown mature man, not some teenaged girl and that’s the kind of crap that reminds me of such. Treat me with respect and I’ll do the same.

As for my condescending lectures you talk about I’m not sure what you mean. I offered a reasonable suggestion of possibility and nothing more before yourself and Butchna escalated it.

If you’ve ever felt lectured I apologize. My intentions are never ill. I’ve been a OC and qb coach since mid 2000s and sometimes I may try and point out things that others may not see. Which may explain the “wild things” I suggest sometimes but I assure you when it comes to qbs I’m no dummy regardless of how it may sound.

I’m sure you along with many others read all off season long how “erratic” and inaccurate BM and JT were in comparison to JG. I was asked shortly after the first practice I attended what I thought of the qbs. My response was: “BM was the most accurate followed closely by JG. JT looked a little erratic at times but when he was on target he was throwing darts. “. “JG should be the clear starter because his experience shows in his decision making.”

The reason I’m telling you this is because that is exactly how it played out in the spring game. Yes BM made a mistake or 2 but his accuracy was on display. Followed by JG and JT was a little erratic at times. I don’t expect you to believe me nor do I care but if you want to keep trusting what you read rather than what you see that’s your prerogative.

Just ask yourself how a kid with over 20 offers goes all around the country working out for several P5 schools and gains every offer of every camp he attended throwing routes on air. Becomes an elite 11 qb and finishes 5th at the opening ranked 18 going in. Comes to UT and Tyson Helton is not the first coach to be quoted saying “His workout was among the best I’ve seen”. Yet the tabloids suggest he’s lost his accuracy since arriving at UT? Buy that if you want to big guy. I’ll stick to logic and my own eyes

Lol, "people like us". I hope some of you are actually better at evaluating QB's than you a) think you are and b)are at evaluating other posters.

One thing Ive noticed this off season that I haven't in the past, at least not with the intensity, is the QB "favoritism" for lack of a better word. Some of you say "I just want the best QB starting and the second best at backup and I don't care which 2 it is"...But I don't believe you.

I know this has been around forever, Maybe I just haven't noticed it being this bad in the past.

Typical stuff for the most part from the same people. Gotta love this place. DoomSpeakers, Player haters, rational thinkers, hope hunters, sunshine pumpers all vying for prominence in every thread. Diversity is not a problem here. :p

I decided to stop pages ago
and just read, wasn't even involved. Honestly had given him the last word and moved on, which is why the conversation looks odd.

Then, he writes an adult film with me an inanimate objects as the stars. I was all

Dadgum, as much time as I spend here you'd think I wouldn't miss anything, but that's 2 in about a week. I must have been at church tryin to change my ways.

Ubben's write up was next to no information but yet, the only thing we've heard. Sounds like maybe Shrout could be pulling mop up duty on size alone, if neither gain a definitive advantage.

Does anyone remember if Chaney lets backups air it out a few times when the game is well in hand? I'd like to see where whoever is at.

no clue. but i think situationally, it would make sense for him to get game film on as many qb's as possible.....

a) they should both be on the roster next year, and need live game reps
b) we have no idea if JG stays, goes pro or transfers as a graduate
c) HB is an x factor, so i would want as many "answers" as i could get if i'm thinking about the future beyond this season

so, i would say yeah.

but i dunno.
