"Time will tell how the lineup actually fares, but I think the Vols’ coaching staff feels pretty alright with Shy Tuttle, Kyle Phillips, Alexis Johnson, and Emmit Gooden right now." Now this is what I like to hear!

You go to war with the men you have, like it or not, I pray the defense will knock some heads early and often:)

I have a friend who played nose tackle in the NFL for five years. He told me that he never missed a game in college or the pros due to injury. He credits that to merely being taught to practice and play the correct way.

Pepe, that sounds good, but it's the exception rather than the rule, nose guards usually stay banged up and still play until they can't
5 years missing no time as a nose guard is truly exceptional in the NFL

Seems what little info we get is about the linesmen and secondary. Wonder how the new O is doing. Seems Pruitt wants to keep the O a secret.

You better believe it. CJP doesn’t want to give any advantage to the WVU game plan on defense. With them down to only 5 scholarship corners, we can really exploit that if we play it right!

If I recall Cimagila has a strong leg and got a 50 yarder last year. Was failrly solid inside 40 and not so much outside 40. No word on the kicking game may be a good thing but with this cloud of secrecy who really knows. Looking forward to seeing what the team looks like next week

I believe you're right about Cimaglia. Hopefully we're not disappointed next Saturday

I'm pretty sure this happened today:

Pruitt: "Hey guys, listen up, aight? The media is gonna be in here for about 5 minutes, and then proceed to talk like they watched us for 3 hours. So, I'm gonna just take some of these black jerseys and throw them randomly, and yall put them on, and we're gonna mess with them today. Then when they leave, we can act like a football team again. Darrin, okay, fine, you can do crap during the 5 minutes today, just do it slow and awkward looking. Coach, make it seem like he's doing a good job jogging like a crippled 4 year old. Goodness, I hate the media. Okay, ready? Hey media, come on in, gonna show yall the real deal today!"

Hilarious, but I could definitely see that happening!
