I don't know how long it's been up but I did a quick scan of page one of the board and didn't see that this had been posted. It's good to see some VOLS out there :)

I also saw that. It's been on all night. I can't believe ESPN actually recognizes us.

I watched that 25 hours of college football last nite, and what i did watch ticked me off cause all they talked about was big ten, big twelve, pac 10 BS, they rarely mention the best conference in the universe the Southeastern Conference. They talked about the how consistant other conference from top to bottom, please, in the SEC with the exception of a few teams, the SEC is S O L I D. even kentucky is coming around, with sanders as the coach, so Lou Holtz, Mark May, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreet, and the rest of the goon platoon, can well go admire their lifesize pictures of john david booty and pete carroll for all i care,

i was pretty ticked at that too. I sat there frozen to the tv and there was hardly any mention at all of the SEC. what the hell? the only thing that i hear is LSU everywhere i turn.

what happened to the 25 hours of coverage? Sportscenter is on talking baseball, mike and mike are on, and I dont have classic in Chattanooga so I have no idea what is on there.

If it bothers you this much quit watching ESPN. These post are getting old, if you don't like ESPN, or think they have it out to get the SEC or us... just stop watch ESPN.

i think that would be hard for people to do considering there's not another sports station out there

There are other stations that have football previews. I know in my area there is Comcast Sports, FSN that have had previews of nothing but SEC and Southern teams. So there are other options.

I don't believe it exists either but that doesn't mean that there aren't biases amongst reporters and commentators because there are without a doubt. People raised in OH and MI truly believe that the Big 10 is 'real' football and those out West think that the Pac 10 is more solid from top to bottom, plus they somehow think that academics is relevant when approaching the subject of the strongest conference?

Here is what I do believe though, ESPN is becoming more about 'entertainment' than sports, even Sportscenter is a joke. I can't stomach it anymore so I choose not to watch. It reminds me of MTV, which used to show music videos, now...

My advice is to tune into ESPN for live games and get your news from the Internet until a real Sports station reappears.

agreed. half of the posters here know more about college football than desmond howard (i mean the individual teams, i'm sure howard knows Xs & Os better than most online posters).

I completley agree. I watch ESPN for games only. I hate SportsCenter because every clip is accompanied by some corny little phrase.

now that i think about it, espn's college coverage wouldnt bother me if it wasnt for lou holtz, i hate that guy, he sounds like a retard and has monkey ears. everytime he talks, all u hear is about notre dame, well f notre dame, and charlie weiss's spiked up hair, and bein to pansyish to join a conference,

Espn they are bandwagonner's .Shelley smith must just hang out in the SC lockeroom sniffing jockstraps,as much as you see her there.Espn sucks. All they talk about is the Pac-10 needing redemption for last year. Its like they are leading the charge.Thats the reason most of them are picking cal. That and the fact they have a pretty stout passing game. Its always going to be that way with them.

Believe me, you’ll get more attention than you can handle once we whoop you. Just wait a little while longer, lad.

If you are so certain of Cal's victory then why don't you make a wager that if the Vols whip the hippies then you will quietly go away and if Cal beats the Vols then you will still just quietly go away.

Prediction:

he will take the bet, but break the deal

While I am under no obligation to follow it, I have already promised to leave, probably on the 3rd. After we whoop the living daylights out of you the thrill will be gone. I’m really gonna miss you guys.:cray:
