I watched that 25 hours of college football last nite, and what i did watch ticked me off cause all they talked about was big ten, big twelve, pac 10 BS, they rarely mention the best conference in the universe the Southeastern Conference. They talked about the how consistant other conference from top to bottom, please, in the SEC with the exception of a few teams, the SEC is S O L I D. even kentucky is coming around, with sanders as the coach, so Lou Holtz, Mark May, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreet, and the rest of the goon platoon, can well go admire their lifesize pictures of john david booty and pete carroll for all i care,
I don't believe it exists either but that doesn't mean that there aren't biases amongst reporters and commentators because there are without a doubt. People raised in OH and MI truly believe that the Big 10 is 'real' football and those out West think that the Pac 10 is more solid from top to bottom, plus they somehow think that academics is relevant when approaching the subject of the strongest conference?
Here is what I do believe though, ESPN is becoming more about 'entertainment' than sports, even Sportscenter is a joke. I can't stomach it anymore so I choose not to watch. It reminds me of MTV, which used to show music videos, now...
My advice is to tune into ESPN for live games and get your news from the Internet until a real Sports station reappears.
Believe me, youll get more attention than you can handle once we whoop you. Just wait a little while longer, lad.
