Somebody needs to post some of the absolutely ludicrous Adidas jerseys too.

It goes both ways, they're both good products.

It's not like we're switching to Faded Glory.

It will be huge if our kickers can use nike balls.. Check out the test wilhoit did online if u haven't. Nike is a huge advantage in kicking.

The list goes on and on and on. Don't get me wrong, this won't change my fanhood. But it is disappointing. Adidas is more common among well off individuals. Yes, that includes a lot of soccer fans - who cares? We were in good company with Michigan, Notre Dame, and Kansas. Now we're a bad jersey away from "Oregon wannabe".

Guys if the players prefer it, that's all that really matters isn't it? Shouldn't the guys who actually have to perform in the gear be the ones with the loudest voice?

You can still buy UT gear from other apparel manufacturers. Nike sold UT shirts last year and years before. This is for the "official" apparel that players wear on game day.

I'm not sure I get the argument that Nike alternate jerseys are the end of the world. Have you seen some of the ones Adidas put out? Baylor? Wisconsin? Notre Dame? Michigan? Indiana?

Comin on! Tennis shoes weren't even considered cool until and MJ and Nike made em that way! People really didn't care what they wore to the gym till MJ dawned those red and black Air Jordan 1's. That was way back in 85! That's no fad! They are just on top of things year in and year out. Only the best signs with Nike! It's a fact!

I know this is the football forum, but Nike makes a FAR superior product when it comes to basketball and it isn't even close.

Odd. I thought this deal wasn't happening. DP did the Beebs affliation with Adidas have anything to do with us choosing to go with Nike?
