I hope they come out strong to start the season, but it wouldn't surprise me that it takes about midseason for this year's o-line to get going really good. Lots of new faces but honestly that's not a bad thing IMO. I liked the guys we had on the line the last couple of years but they seemed to hit their ceiling two years ago in pass protection.

A lot of Clarksville kids only live in TN a few years due to Ft Campbell, so no strong VOLS allegiance for most. I taught HS there for 5 years. Those kids who haven't been in TN that long hated everything about it. Nature of the beast. They hated it because they didn't want to be here for one reason or another.
I see this as a big recruiting victory for the VOLS.

Texans just moved Tytus Howard, started preseason inside at right guard, back to right tackle, his natural position, due to injury. Some guys can do it.

An anchor left tackle is usually an anchor left tackle. Cant say i ever recall the Texans moving LaramyTunsil inside while he was there. Anchor Left tackle protecting The Commanders QB Jaylen Daniels.

It's an alternate explanation for the source of the word 'cockpit,' the place where a sailor sits or stands to steer the vessel (and later, airplanes by extension).
