You can tell he came up under Saban. No BS, and usually no concrete answers. I like it. I don't want to know the QB until he trots out on the field 9-1.![]()

Yep. This is the difference between a good coach and a GOAT. No better example than Pat; she pushed for excellence every moment of the year, coached when we were destroying teams like we were down by 20. And we dominated because of it. Hope Pruitt is the same.Yea...running backs rush for 500 yards, Pruitt...we got to do better, we struggled
Tennessee 50

We struggled...got to do better.
Quarterbacks throw for 500 yards...Pruitt, we struggled, got to do better out there.
Defense shuts out 12 teams, holds them to no scores. Pruitt...we got to do better
Wins the National Championship:Next year, we have to get better. We struggled with everything, but so proud of this team. Love the Tennessee fans, but next year they have to fill Neyland Stadium for the spring game. Hollow louder during games, and need more noise.
Point being: sounds just like Nick Saban doesn’t it?
I just don't see that unless we have a lot of injuries. If we get to that point, just like last year, we're in troubleThanks Freak!!
I like how he is very realistic and straightforward. We can feel confident he is trying to develop them.
I do have a question.. he said McBrode played a lot with the two and had a solid camp. Is it possible McBride could compete for the starting slot or is it given he is the backup??
Probably because JG and Chryst were with the 1sThanks Freak!!

I think that is a champion mentality. MJ never thought about starting. He thought about being the best basketball player that was on the floor, every game. That is the mentality that drove Barnett to outwork every player on the roster, and lack of it that kept Da'Rick Rogers from getting drafted.I liked this
With every position I hope I have players – whether they play quarterback, defensive tackle, punter or long snapper – I hope their number one goal is to not be the starter at Tennessee. I hope that is not their goal,” Pruitt said. “That is not much of a goal in my opinion. I hope their goal is to be the best player in their position out there.”
He has had some very good teachers. I expect him to continue to use what he has learned from his past positions. If he does, we will be very happy with our football team in the future.Yea...running backs rush for 500 yards, Pruitt...we got to do better, we struggled

This comment concerning because it seems to be a carry over from last year.
We need to do a better job of protecting the quarterback and the quarterback has to do a better job of getting the ball out of his hand.
I like his comment on freshmen showing ability, reaffirming their recruiting analysis, and seemingly being able to run the ball.
