Well, Coach Heupel is quite the magician and certainly pulled the program out of the depths of hell.

But for every feel good story, I guess there has to be a villain.

Go to bed kid. let’s enjoy this game, the hype, I just happy to be here, and imagine we are here with the #19 roster strength in the country…..wait till we have a comparable cupboard to yours…. Makes me giddy with anticipation. I feel almost like dancing!

Sure it would. Our biggest opponent if we go 11-1 would be Ohio State if Michigan beats them again.... I don't believe for one second after tonight that committee is sold on TCU.

Also have to remember that if we lose to UGA in close fashion, we wouldn't drop far from 1 spot since UGA is 3. Say we drop to 5 and win out, that means Michigan and Ohio State are ahead of us next week rankings. They play each other and one will lose. That means we would move up 1 spot ahead of the loser.

TCU meanwhile keeps putting up close games week after week vs not so great teams.

Why would any VOL fan not want the VOLS ranked #1??? You think that ranking is somehow gonna give GA or any other team a chip on their shoulder and up their game to beat the VOLS..not how sports or competition works.

I would say that this team has gotten stronger since the Bama Game. They definitely got healthier. I know you are capable of scoring but GA will need at least 45 to win this game and that is not a sure thing. I don't think that GA will score over 30 to be honest and that will not cut it.

As long as UGA would go 13-0 and win in Atlanta, I love our odds to make playoff at 11-1. Right now, there are basically 6 teams bidding for 4 playoff spots. I think committee made it clear that TCU would need major help to get in playoff. Right now, I don't think there are enough games left for those 6 teams to lose (realistically outside of historic upsets) for TCU to have a shot at a playoff spot.

Completely agree on needing UGA to beat Bama if we list to UGA (we won’t). And I, of course, completely agree it’s awesome to even be thinking about this.

I disagree on TCU though. If TCU wins out that means a win at Texas, at Baylor and then beating maybe K State in the B12 championship, all happening while we lose to UGA and then get lower level wins over Mizzou, SC and Vandy. I agree we wouldn’t fall behind them immediately but at some point it would be like Ohio State in 2014 and they would jump us, probably not until the final ranking. But, listen, it doesn’t matter. 1. We ain’t losing to UGA. 2. TCU ain’t running the table.

The end of game Saban pulled i think his coaching has given way to his ego some.... I believe Heupel is as good as any of them if im honest. He obviously doesn't have the hardware currently... Let's see what happens in the next two months or ao. We certainly have a shot in year 2

Yeah. TCU is def in weird spot. I do know I would hate to be USC, Mizzou, and Vandy if we lose to UGA. We'd hang 60 a game just out of being pissed off.


I tend to agree with this take on TCU after tonight. They need to start blowing out wins. They can't afford to win 7-10 points vs the WVU's of the world and expect to get respect against the teams like Michigan and Bama ahead of them.
