And actually many of those doing "blackouts" didn't have black in their color scheme. MTSU really didn't (blue, silver, and white), FSU didn't, Oregon St. and Oklahoma St. both used black as a trim color before going all black (sound familiar).

TRUE STORY

My nephew was at UT for one of the recruiting games (part of Camp Focus) and one of the Fulmer staff Gerald something I can never remember his last name was his sponsor, but I always pointed him out when I saw him on TV and told the story. So my nephew is a Vandy fan and showed up in a Vandy jersey and Gerald made him go to his office and put on one of his UT polo shirts. LMAO

I talked to a player who didn't want his name mentioned that they will have black jerseys for the game on halloween. This player said that they will warm up in orange, and come out in black. He also said that he has seen the black jersey already, and it is very different from the jerseys we have now, and that style could become our regular jerseys. (not in black but orange) He said they have orange stripes down the side. I'm not a fan of the black jerseys, but I thought yall would like the info.

And they're replacing the Power T on the helmet with the growling Smokey, right?

Sorry. Maybe a black jersey as a novelty for one game. But, a complete change of the Orange jersey design? Just don't see it. :no:
