Thanks man. Its real hard to stay out of trouble for 3 years to get that medal. Even harder moving hotels in Vegas during the summer hungover. But I soldiered on and did it with a smile on my face. For America of course.

Jerry is not doing that great. I think he had surgery recently. He had a friend call in to the final call in show and request prayers for him

Too negative for the military? Lol. But gosh, you're probably right. I should have been totally stoked to be deployed for years in terrible countries dodging bullets and searching for ice for my mountain dew. Cant believe I gave up the poor pay, terrible haircuts, and awful deployments

Not a whole lot of bullet dodging done by airmen as I recall from my days in the AF. Hair cuts and bad pay I can agree with.

Normally yeah. I got caught up in the initial deployment into Pakistan/Afghanistan like 3 days after 9/11. I almost got to fire my M-16 but our security guards (USMC) took care of that for us.
