Yes if they beat Obama, NO ONE will care about Oklahoma or Arkansas (maybe not Florida) because they will be 4-3 and a HELLAVA lot of momentum on there side all of Vol Nation will not care what happened in the first 3 weeks (except the few that come on here and have something to complain about)

This was the first game that "coaching" gave me hope. I hope they continue to "play like they're behind" instead of trying to "sit on leads". Well done coaches !!!

You have got to be kidding!!!! You punt in that situation every time. However, I believe they should have at least a sprint out type pass on 3rd down and get the first down. If they do the game is over then. Worked out though.

Well, give the coaches and players credit for a much improved passing game, which went from being crap to our strength in this game. Great comeback.

My negative? I've said it: Butch has a knack for making weak, dumb decisions with the game on the line. Punting the ball, and thinking that our defense would hold georgia, was stupid. We didn't hold them, and we wouldn't have held them: we got lucky on the punt and the fact that georgia had used 1 or 2 timeouts already. Another 10 or 15 seconds and they would have been in the end zone. When you are one play away from winning, you have to take it and make it. We narrowly avoided yet another choke.

Ok, now i'll drink a beer.

I guess you've missed all the games where Jones did punt and we lost. Our defense NEVER comes through with the game on the line.

If we combine 1st half UT from Arky with 2nd half UT against UGA, we could have an unstoppable monster that would signal the end-times.

I was watching the game with my daughter and told her Spurrier would go for this. But I told her the right move was to punt it.

That almost backfired, but I still believe it is the right decision,

Completely agree with OP! The OK and FL loses still stings, but if we have learned to stay aggressive and close games then I am truly excited for the future. GBO!!!!!!

Right on but 2nd and 3rd were conservative calls with Dobbs running up middle both times. Staff is still showing signs of trying to sit on lead and rely on defense in final minutes. Thankfully it barely worked out this time.

Punt and play defense every time. You do not give the ball to the opponent on your side of midfield. The defense made the play it had to, to win the game.
