Vanity plates

Why can't the state of Tennessee come up with a decent looking vanity plate for the Univ. of Tennessee?

Here is the one from the state of Georgia...

The Power T and that is it. Nothing else needed. Now look at the crap we have here in Tennessee...

WTF is this sunburst crap?

Or this one?

Clemson and the majority of the other schools have the right idea. Just the team logo and the school colors. Nothing too gaudy or flashy.

My personal rant... carry on.

I don't mind the 3rd UT plate, the second one is god awful.

I have the GA plate....I do like the way it looks.....but that's how all schools look on GA plates....just their emblem on the left hand side and the university name at the bottom

The sunburst used to be on the back of the old jumbotron, maybe that's why they made it that way.

Be happy with what you've got. SC has no out-of-state college vanity plates (that I can find, anyway).

Nothing makes me angrier than seeing a university of alabama logo on a state of tennessee license plate. I think that they should ban them.

Virginia has plates for just about every school in the country EXCEPT UT. The DMV says they can't get enough commitments.

Same goes for North Carolina. But they have tags for VT, Auburn and Purdue.. :crazy:

I definitely like GA's plate. Keep it simple with a Power T.

You'd think that we'd have the best looking ones since we are in TN. I wonder who makes the decisions when it comes to updating the look?
