Vanity plates

Be happy with what you've got. SC has no out-of-state college vanity plates (that I can find, anyway).

Same thing in Alabama. I can't imagine they couldn't sell more UT tags than most of the small school in state tags they offer.

I still can't believe Tennessee has a Florida plate. I got in a wreck with a guy who had one.

Nothing makes me angrier than seeing a university of alabama logo on a state of tennessee license plate. I think that they should ban them.

I don't mind the 3rd UT plate, the second one is god awful.

I like the 3rd plate in TN. I've always liked the UT emblem with the state in it. They're working on a plate in AL. Not sure of the status.

Same goes for North Carolina. But they have tags for VT, Auburn and Purdue.. :crazy:

before I moved across the state line, we (Charlotte Alumni Chapter) were working with the other chapters to garner enough interest so NC would implement them, at one point we only needed another 75 or so people to make their deposit and place the order...not sure where that # is now since I moved to SC.

WTF?!?! just checked SC DMV, they've always just carried plates for instate schools, just double checked and now they have Auburn and GA Tech.... I'm writing my congressman!! that's BS!! :realmad:

before you write your congressman you should probably contact the DMV and ask what the process is for getting a school plate.

Can't get one in VA either last time I checked. I used to have a plate that said LV DVOLS but most people thought I was a Duke fan. Stupid Hokies.
