A huge part of their fanbase is redneck as hell. They come in from the rural middle Tennessee parts or Antioch.

Just plain white trash.

Behind me they were screaming "Midwest Trash" at Butch. Cursing profusely and yelling all kinds of profanities.

Oh lord, the cussing again. Ironic you include a profanity in your post.

I bout jumped on the field from row 67 screaming "you dirty SOB" when they hit Dobbs out of bounds and went right for his knees. I probably would've embarrassed and annoyed you.

Lucky for me, I set around other rednecks who cussed too. I'll go to confessional tomorrow.

The ones we were around wanted us to beat them bad so they could get another coach!!! The crowd was at least 70% orange!! It was pretty cool!!!

I curse often. Thank god I was given enough sense not to do so when I look around and see children present.

Vandy fans are the worst. If you want to be honest they are a reject Ivy league school. They can't compete academically with Harvard, Yale, Brown or even Duke so they try to compare themselves to Public schools. You can get a very good education at UT and be very competitive in the work place. Hell UT has produced quite a few Billionaires to be honest.

I was reminded tonight as to why I never go to games at that sh!thole they call a stadium. The snooty ass Vandy fan setting beside us told my 7 year old he shouldn't be singing Rocky Top in "Their" stadium. I politely told him that he was out numbered and to KMA.

Don't get me wrong. I'm quite the potty mouth myself, but not around kids. I was there with my small son.

I don't mind the occasional outburst. But this was constant cursing and trashing of bUTch, our fans and cheering and cursing our players that were down hurt......

I seriously almost snapped on some fools in front of my 3 year old son. That's no good.....

Early on UT had a player down hurt. Can't remember who.

But they were laughing and joking and saying all types of things about him while he was down.

Calling him Chuckie Mullins and started a semi Chuckie Mullins chant.

That is the most classless piece of **** thing I've ever heard at a ball game and I've heard some brutal ****....

A friend and I went to the game tonight. We sat on the end of a row in section M. Two older (40ish) vandy fans sat across from us on the end of a row in the other section. One kept mouthing off all night out loud "brick by brick Butch, brick by [effing] brick!" every time something would go wrong for TN. We had a young boy about 10 years old sitting on the row in front of us. Finally I yelled over at the guy to shut his common mouth and asked him if he'd like me to come over his house and cuss in front of his kid for him. I could tell the father of the boy didn't want to say anything because he didn't want to make a scene in front of his little boy. I was absolutely infuriated by the time I popped off. The guy left right after vandy's last 4th and 10 attempt at the end of the game. At least he stopped and apologized to the boy's father.

The apology wasn't sincere. It was a cowardly move. They are the most classless *****es ever. Straight up punks!!!!

And I'm a pretty low life person myself. But not as low as a Vandie fan.

They are just bad humans

I had a Vandy fan that kept yelling for me to sit down. Said since I was a Tennessee fan I was too dumb to understand him....lol.

For the record. I stood the entire game. Their crappy stadium in the end zone is the absolute worst. People walking in front of you the whole time.

Got ya. The late hit on Dobbs is the only time I lost it. I did my best to make sure that SOB heard me call him an SOB. Doubt he reached 5 rows down but I tried.
